Del Taco — Restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga

My wife and I live just around the corner from here. We visit frequently, but we either receive awful service or our order is completely wrong at least every other visit. When we ask for simple substitutions, such as changing pinto beans to black beans, we are not only charged extra, but the employee will often be upset with us for it. On multiple occasions, when ordering a Beyond meat burrito they have also given us chicken instead which is dangerous for our health as we do not eat meat at all. We then have to return to the restaurant to get a new burrito and we've only received an apology from the employees once. Overall, the food is very cheap of course, but that's the only reason we come back. There is no other place we've ever been that has managed to give such awful service time...

Service is horrible. We sat in the drive thru for 20 minutes at the speaker with 7 cars behind us waiting. I finally drove up to the window to a guy that was poking his nose. I explained that I was at the speaker waiting with 7 other vehicles, and he said there were only 2 workers and understaffed which I can understand but he could have let us know that he would be right with us. Then he said he could not take our order at the window because its company policy and we needed to get in line again. The kid was rude and had the same finger that he was using to poke his nose in his mouth. That's disgusting! I asked him if they had a policy for no nose poking or fingers in his mouth? He did not answer. I do not want a person poking his nose...

We love Del Taco, and when we visit Southern California from the Bay Area (there are no Del Tacos in N.Cal…..arrgh!!), we always make a point to visit a Del Taco at least twice during the visit, but this Del Taco is the worse that we have experienced of all the Del Taco's.

I originally visited this location after a long drive late at night (1 am) and the food was garbage, so I thought well it was late, but then we visited during the afternoon on a weekend and the food was garbage again where we threw most of the taco's away.

Doesn't taste much like the typical Del Taco, but instead Del Junko.

It is in a convenient location near the Colonies Community, but I think I would rather go to Chick-fil-A for food that will...
