My NY Pizza Sports Pizzeria — Restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga

I really wanted to love this new pizza place, but was so disappointed. Got there around 7:30pm on Thursday evening. Ordered 2 giant 14 inch slices of pepperoni pizza. The cashier was very friendly. After my take-out order was placed and paid for I was informed it would be about 20 minutes to get my order. (It would be a nice courtesy to let the patron know in advance the timing of their order-it was already late and we were just wanting to pick up something quick and head home). But I had been wanting to try this place, so we took a seat and waited. Great atmosphere. Crowded on a Thursday night with lots of TVs with various sports showing. Festive. The decor is somewhat modern industrial. Cool vibe. 40 minutes after we placed our order we got it. We headed home with our treasure in hand. The cashier had raved about the sauce being made in-house and the pizza smelled great. Unfortunately the pizza seemed to be missing the sauce—or was spread on the crust with a pastry brush? The pizza basically had no sauce. The cheese, pepperoni, and crust tasted great! But without the sauce the pizza tasted dry. I recommend giving this place a try, but make sure you ask...

We had a group of 10 of us our family was first to order. We ordered a large pizza with 2 topping and a pitcher of beer ($24 for a pitcher of beer). Our grandson wanted just cheese so we ask if they leave the topping off a 1/4 of the pizza and they that was not possible so we ordered a large and small pizza. The small cheese pizza arrived however not the large pizza. We asked about the other pizza and they said it would be out shortly. The rest of our group received their orders however we did not receive our large pizza. Now we were told they had not made the pizza! I explained that the rest of our group had finished eating and they offered us free wings. They eventually agreed to a refund. We were in the mood for pizza and decided to finally try out My NY Pizzeria since I was in the area. The pizza was so delicious! I love how big it is inside with many TV's all around the walls. The staff is super friendly and will come check on you often which is really nice. My kids and I got a large pepperoni & sausage pizza and it came out hot and very flavorful. We also got some buffalo wings, fettuccine Alfredo with a side salad & garlic bread, and their signature cheese balls. Wow, we fell in love with those cheese balls! You definitely got to try them if you stop by. I love that they have a lunch special because it can get pricey eating out with the family.
