I keep coming back to Red Chili House Chinese restaurant since I relocated to Rancho Cucamonga three years ago. It is my default Chinese restaurant for good reason. The food consistently stands out for its fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. Every dish I’ve tried tastes homemade and true to traditional recipes, which is rare to find elsewhere in the area. It is a testament to the chef's dedication to using authenic ingredients when I learned that their wonton soup is made of long-simmered broth instead of MSG-added water!
What really sets this place apart is the value. The prices are at least 30% lower than comparable restaurants with similar quality, making it a fantastic option for anyone who wants great food without breaking the bank. The portions are generous, and you can taste the care put into each meal.
Beyond the food, the restaurant has a low-key, welcoming vibe. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed—perfect for a casual meal after a busy workday or catching up with friends. I get to know the owner-chef who takes real pride in his work. It’s the kind of place where you immediately feel at home. Highly recommended for anyone in Rancho area seeking authentic Chinese cuisine at an affordable price!

Read moreService was awful from start to finish. We weren’t given enough menus for our party (there were only 5 of us & the restaurant was not busy when we arrived) we ordered drinks & had to wait about 15 minutes for only 3 of them to come out and after another 15 minutes we’re told the other 2 drinks were no longer available so new drinks needed to be ordered. After ordering different drinks & our food, which also took much longer than it should have they proceeded to bring our food out individually & only half an order was brought out at a time, so if your food came with sides or you ordered sides only part of your order came out at a time with about 10-15 minutes between each persons meal so while waiting for everyone’s food & everyone’s full orders to arrive others food got cold. Drinks were not refilled & the food wasn’t even good when it finally did arrive nor was it worth the wait. Definitely never...
Read moreMy wife, daughter, and I had dinner there this afternoon. The restaurant in the a strip mall lined with several other Asian restaurants and an Asian market, which we frequent often. Inside, the atmosphere is bland; the waiter was pleasant, but I think a couple of experienced waitresses/waiters with a bit more personality would add to the dining experience. While the food seemed fresh and was tasty, it was not as spicy as we liked, and there were really no spicy condiments. Finally, our server was walking about killing flies with a fly swatter; this was a real turn-off, and we were almost tempted to leave. The restaurant needs to invest in an over-the-door flying insect fan. Every time someone entered the place, flies came in and he'd go swatting them on the tables and chairs. Again, the food was not bad, but there needs to be work on service, atmosphere, and...
