Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Rapho Township

We had a terrible experience, we literally had the server that made our food, slam it down on the counter and push it toward us, almost throwing it at us. And the person taking the order was upset we questioned why we were charged different prices for deleting one ingredient and replacing with extra of another. On the app we did not get charged extra but in the store we did. I asked the server what the problem was and she said it’s because we questioned the price and said they are supposed to charge us extra, that was her reasoning for being so rude to my wife and I!! We Asked for the manager to call us and she would not and then contacted tropical smoothie corporate with a complaint And they would not call us back either. Unbelievable that we were treated this way. I’ve never experienced something like that before, and all the years and I was in the food service Industry for quite a few years, Never would’ve done something like this. I’ve been in customer service, my whole life and customers are supposed to be treated with respect and should be thanked for their business even if the customer is wrong, which we were not in this case. That was the other thing when we do go into this location they never say hello and they never say thank you for your order, in fact, before the food was thrown at us, my wife said thank you to the server as she was walking toward us, and she was shocked that a young girl could...

Big disappointment to bite into a Thai chicken wrap, over my lunch break, and taste hints of mold mixed with the innards that make up this concoction. Obviously, produce is not being inspected for daily freshness. I stopped by this location on 6/28/19 between 1-2pm prior to heading to work because, I thought it was a good idea, at the time. I also, ordered an Island Green Superfood smoothie which seemed okay but, I have to wonder how fresh the ingredients really were before they ground and blended it up to serve to me. Possibly, the mango, pineapple and banana flavors masked the true (non)freshness of it? Makes me wonder where their true commitment to serving customers healthy food lies. $$$? The young staff was very attentive and handled themselves professionally at their particular skill level. I've stopped by the Ephrata location and didn't have an experience like this one. This spot is close on the way to work so, I 'm not sure if I want to throw my money away on the off-chance their food may be edible that day. What a shame. I was planning on making this a weekly stop or two on the way to work so I could have something healthy to eat for lunch. I guess it's back to McD's, Sheetz or Parma. Forget BK in Mt. Joy. Their young staff are rude POS's. Maybe the day shift handle themselves better but, that night crew...

On a whim, my wife recommended this place for us on the way to Hershey Park. We’re staying at the hotel across the street so I gave it a shot. As per usual, my wife was right and the smoothies we had were some of the best we’ve ever tasted!! I had the chia banana boost (with whey protein) and it was awesome. My wife had the apple matcha and she destroyed that!! The prices of the meals and smoothies are amazingly fair, if not almost a steal for the portions offered. My family and I are going back here in February for another visit to the area and we are 10000% coming back!! I truly appreciate a great deal, and exceptional customer service. This location has both!! We’re from New York, so we’re not used to having our cake and eating it too, at least without paying exorbitant prices. This is a great surprise and a MUST VISIT for anybody looking for a huge portion and delicious meal/meal...
