The subs were okay, but the service was terrible. The staff were very busy but went first thing in the morning so, they weren’t tired from a long and busy day so not sure why it was sooo slow cutting meats and getting the orders straight. Need to get a better system—like the one in Sioux Falls, which is fast and fresh and delicious!! And fyi RC Jersey Mike’s, the gloves aren’t to keep your hands clean they’re to ensure safe food handling. Think I’ll give it awhile before I return..to give them a chance to get a groove but..I might just wait and go to the Sioux Falls one.
** 01/08/21 gave a second chance tonight and ordered a #8 and a Veggie sub. The veggie sub has bacon all over it—what?!?? And the club had added ingredients that were not ordered on it and bread that could double as a baseball bat—seriously. Family member was upset about veggie sub with lots of bacon and rock hard bread, and when I asked her what was wrong, she literally said, “I want Jimmy Johns.” And another family member said, after eating her portion of the sub, “I wish I could get it out of me.” Thank you for ruining yet another meal Jersey Mike’s. Read moreWhen I saw that jersey mikes came to rapid city I was super excited! I’m not from rapid city but I’ve had them before and was super excited! I called today and was told that they would stop taking orders at 3:30 for the holidays! Understandable! I call at 2:45 and the manager D. Miller told me that they are not taking anymore orders because his staff would like to go home for Christmas. I told him that was fine but he rudely said “yea we are done for the day you would have to come another day” and then hung up the phone. I called back just to get his name he answered the phone rudely and I asked for his name. I told him that he was being rude and he said he was not. I told him I would be speaking to his manager he said that he was the manager abs good luck. I normally don’t do this but I understand it’s Christmas Eve abs everything closes early I totally understand that but the customer service and the way the manager spoke to me was unacceptable. I'm a real cook I understand the stress but when I see a "shift lead" cursing about management infront of customers it gets under my skin you're fast food don't complain you've got it easy. My complaints: team leader cursing and complaing infront of guests, not making sandwich correctly though I asked for it the way your company prizes itself on (tomato, onion,lettuce, oil vinegar, and mayo) I didn't get any mayo (that's a very minor problem), the cooks working the flat top were very obviously under 18 (which technically is illegal due to dangers in the kitchen) one was wearing sunglasses (which could lead to um properly cooked food due to color variations) while you were ignoring the obvious trainee on staff as he was obviously struggling to learn his job.
