McDonald's — Restaurant in Rapid City

As one of the MANY MANY DoorDash and Postmates Delivery Drivers in the Rapid City are, I want to say:

TEN STARS TO THE BEST DELIVERY RESTAURANT IN THE REGION!!!

The community should be made aware that the management team is, without doubt or debate, the most hands-on (and this is from a BEHIND- -THE-SCENES stand-point) Covid19 cooperatively AWARE team during this travesty: not ONLY adherent to basic guidelines but going above and beyond the call of duty.

It is an absolute HONOR to deliver orders to eagerly awaiting customers as I (the unofficial South Side McDs Delivery Dasher) have NEVER—NOT ONCE—received a complaint from a customer.

As for the staff.... Oh! I wish I could name and each and everyone of you off—but all have been SO kind to me (Mckinsie) and everyone else taking CARE of their delivery drivers by allowing us (in the case of emergency) to use the facilities.

This may seem relatively simple but most restaurants and even fast food chains leave dashers to suffer without even offering a water or restroom after a 10 hour day of driving.

I want to ALSO point out that in their allowing drivers to use facilities and access their location, they’ve taken on the task of TWICE as much cleaning and sanitizing. But they DO this because they bust their BUTTS to BE the best. And they are. And it is more appreciated than I can express.

BURGER KING—WENDYS—ARBYS (to name just a few) I’m talking to YOU. If you ever wonder why your orders are being rejected by delivery drivers is because the time it takes to go through the drive-thru, wait in the hot sun, burning gas (spending more money than the measly tip) it typically totals more than the order’s worth, if not eclipsing it; costing drivers well paying deliveries to the point where accepting any offers from ANY of the above is pointless and detrimental to drivers.

The west side McDonald’s is also quite lovely but the North Side needs to have its management and workers retrained by the best: the South Side Super Stars at McDonald’s Mount Rushmore!

They are the NUMBER ONE BEST RESTAURANT FOR CLEANLINESS, DELIVERY SERVICE and definitely, NUMBER ONE for being compassionate, hardworking human beings!

Bravo...

Do not go to this store if you care about your safety.

I have been going to this location for years and I have always had a fairly positive experience (although there are a fair share of suspicious people that lurk around). The staff is very helpful and the store it fairly clean. However, this Monday morning, I had a very negative and strange experience with the management in the store. There was a crime that took place directly outside of the establishment with several witnesses (Thankfully, no one was hurt). The employees were very kind; however, when the manager was asked for the security camera footage, he declined, stating that the police would need to be involved to check the footage. Completely understandable, so we obliged. The police officer then arrived on the scene and requested the footage. She was immediately told that they do not record footage on their camera. I am not sure why he decided to waste everyone's time waiting around for a police officer if he already knew that he did not have any footage. He could not have been more rude to us, despite being asked very politely. Anyhow, thankfully no one was injured and it was just a few thousand dollars lost on my end. I personally believe that the lack of security cameras recording on the premises is a huge oversight and I personally will not be returning...

Ordered breakfast sandwich to go (Egg McMuffin) and crunchy gravel taste so I opened sandwich and found large chunk of shell, along with broken remnants of shell. Very unappetizing. If speed is prioritized over quality and care, I will not be back. Not a great way to start my day. Disgusting.

• Response to Owner: I consider an inconvenience waiting too long in the drive thru or getting an error or mixup in my order. Large fragments of eggshell present a risk, not an inconvenience, including the potential to injure the throat or esophagus. That said, I am glad to hear you will use my original feedback to improve. Thank you.

*12/14/21. Ordered tonight and indicated no meat on the cheeseburger meal…there was meat on both sandwiches. So I paid for a meal that the person couldn’t eat. Please tell your staff to review orders prior to making and packing and please refund my order or get me a new one that is correct.
