I have ordered here twice and both times have been sub par at best. The first time I ordered it was clear to me that they had reused an old pizza to make my order. I'm guessing the had 2 pepperoni's that they didn't want to go to waste so they threw more toppings and cheese on it and baked it again. The crust was almost inedible. It was later at night and my kids were hungry so we powered through as best we could but there were 2 pizza and four of us and we only ate 5 slices and trashed the rest. I tried again last night figuring that was a one off. On the plus side it wasn't $40 worth of reused inedible pizza however the pizza wasn't cooked all the way through so it was very doughy and still almost inedible. I had to bake it in my oven for another 8 minutes at 375 so I could actually eat it. Also I'm not trying to complain about extra stuff but there was so much cheese on it that it was in the ridiculous territory. I did ask for extra sauce and holy cow did I not realize what I was signing up for. I thought I would get 1 and 1/2 the sauce but it was at least double maybe more. There is clearly some one working there that isn't paying attention to proper portions. I have had and loved papa John's many times but this establishment isn't living up to the standards that are acceptable. I will not be trying it again and I would encourage anyone reading this to...
Read moreSo I ordered myself a large, The Works pizza, at Papa Johns. Like I keep saying when it comes to fast food or chains that consistency is the hardest thing to be because of the changing of personnel and cutbacks on quality to save costs. The person answering the phone to take my order was just meh. Wasn't excited or enthusiastic but wasn't rude or mean either. Middle of the road attitude, kind of like not wanting to be there and it sounded like it. Once I got my pizza and opened it up, I was surprised. It was also meh. This is supposed to be a supreme pizza with all kinds of toppings! Mine looked like there was a contest to see which one could come closer to a Picasso painting. The crust wasn't cooked all the way so it was gummy, each slice didn't have anywhere near the same amount of toppings on them. One was overloaded with all kinds, then the neighbor had like two lonely things on it. Overall my experience was just meh. Which sucks for Papa Johns because with that I probably won't be wasting anymore of my hard earned money on them. With so much competition out there vying for your business, you have to be as sharp and consistent as ever! Unfortunately they are not. My recommendation is that you can go to them once, but if they don't wow you or at least give you a good experience, then move on. There are way too many other pizza places that will...
Read moreI set up a preplan delivery. Allowed 10 minutes before I started to call. Automated system told me it was one minute out from when I called. So I hung up. Then a couple minutes later called back. Automated system said that it was running behind. Be patient. Waited another 10 minutes called back and went to the manager. Finally a real person. Then was told they were running behind and that even though I selected a preplan it can be delayed. And that there were a few deliveries ahead of me. Received no resolution. My wife missed her window to eat between work and other commitments and I even gave a good tip with the order. No resolution when I called. Will let my employer know that they should no longer do...
