Taco John's — Restaurant in Rapid City

This is for Taco Johns as a whole in Rapid City. Since they were sold several years back, the consistency in food, flavor, choices & amount of food given has gone downhill. They have done away with good popular items like apple grandes, mexi rolls, enchiladas, cold brew (the best) & continually add new items that are here for 5 minutes & gone. You don't even get a chance to like them. The only consistency is you never know what you get & it will cost you more. The flavor of the meat has changed, spices are different & hotter. What you are given for the price asked for in no way resembles the advertisement. Missing parts & pieces, getting less than advertised - I could go on with specifics on super burritos, super nachos, breakfast ole's, the pizza - more. Having said that, if I do decide to go to Taco Johns, I will not go to the Cambel st location. They have gotten it wrong for a very long time. The Haines Ave & West side do much better. I really wish the Taco Johns from years ago would come back. They were my go-to fast food place....

Came here to this location after the one on Haines was in such disorder and unorganization. The nice man manning the register helped us right away. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and my friend a chicken potato burrito. I was Leary after our experience at the other location less than a half hour earlier. We got our food ON A TRAY - awesome presentation. And it was awesome my quesadilla actually had chicken and was cut normal. Everything was perfect for us.

After a bad experience at the other location, this one was a breathe of fresh air. Even thanked the cashier on our way out, and told them they improved my birthday 10X. So thank you again!

Bummed about the other location, as it was our favorite spot to go, but I think we just found out new...

I'm usually never one to complain but the last four times I came here for food I ordered through the drive through and the first thing I noticed when pulling away from the drive through was the that my taco bravo felt like they had just taken it out of the refrigerator. It also had no sour cream after I ordered it with sour cream. And then 2 soft shell tacos and a taco bravo was missing from my order. I also ordered an extra house dressing which i did not get and my taco salad was also cold and it had about 75% less meat than it normally has on it. It wouldn't bother me so much when I'm paying over 8 dollars for it I would expect to get more than a tablespoon of meat and the extra dressing...
