Dear central state fair grounds, I would like to talk about your poor service. First of all I payed $50 for a mega pass this pass means it lasts us 5 days at the fair. It’s my last day here. I’m excited to hang out with my friends. But when I get here expecting to hangout all day meaning till 12:00pm I only get to ride, rides till 9:00pm. Not only that but I have to wait in a 30 minute line to get on my last ride of the night and when I finally get up there it’s 9:58. They wouldn’t let me go because it was almost nine as you can see this can make a person angry. Especially after paying $50!!! Let me make it clear my last ride I wanted to go on but was stopped because it was 9:58 was the faris wheel. All I wanted was to get an overview of the fair which I hadn’t gotten to do yet but because of your heartless acts I didn’t get to go. On top of all that I am over here dying of heat stroke when I see a food booth where I can get water. I ask the lady and she says “$3 please” I give her the $3 and drink the water bottle pretty quickly. So being still thirsty I ask if they can refill she says no but I can get another water bottle for $4 which doesn’t make sense because she sold me my last one for $3 which is already outrageous for a bottle of water let alone paying $4 for a water. Yes I know maybe I could have brought my own water bottle but they wouldn’t of refilled it. And yes I could have stayed at the fair longer and just stopped riding rides at 9:00 but I didn’t want to do that because then I would have had to spend money for games sense I couldn’t ride rides. I think it’s amazing that they have a central fair but you need to make some changes. Moral of the story is I don’t think I got my money’s...

This is a review of the campground. The reservation system is horrible, you can't make changes without calling in and then they just tell you to cancel the reservation and create a new one. When I did that I was charged $10 more nor did I get the campground I preferred. They have three campground areas and even though you can reserve any of them only one was open which is not disclosed until you arrive. The worst thing are the bathrooms. They are absolutely disgusting. They've not probably been cleaned and a long time, lots of mold in the showers, toilets are filled with waste, trash all over the floor, and an odor that is horrible. Though the location is good, the negatives outweigh the positives. I strongly do...

Camping here at the fairgrounds while sightseeing and getting some work done on the rv. Decent sites with water and electric with a dump station for campers. $20 for non campers. Little road noise but not bad we don’t notice it after a while. No shade but it cools off fast. Bike trail nearby and horse intertainment the weekend we are here. Very few campers. $50 per night. Little high for fairgrounds but probably cheapest in the area. Place is clean with trash cans at the end of every other sight. You do get the typical one person in a campground that doesn’t clean up after his dogs but at least they are not running loose. Friendly office staff and very fast at getting a site here and very accommodating in...

The fairgrounds is a great location! We've been there for all sorts of events but most recently was for the Fair. The carnival is always a great time! They have rides for all ages and the prices for tickets and bands are fair. We went on buddy day so we saved money on unlimited ride passes. We also went to the fair earlier during the week for just kid games and animal exhibits. They had a ninja course, play bins with water games, different buildings housing animal and art exhibits, and even a petting zoo! Overall it's a great location for the Fair, rodeos, grandstand events, etc.
