I rarely write reviews, but after our recent experience, I feel compelled to share our deep disappointment with this newly opened pizza establishment in Rathdrum. My wife and I are in our 60s and have enjoyed pizza from many places over the years, but this was, by far, the worst we have ever encountered.
We ordered a large Hawalian pizza, plus onions, which set us back $30. For that price, we expected a quality pizza with generous toppings and a satisfying experience. What we received was the complete opposite.
The pizza was shockingly thin, with barely any sauce to speak of--likely less than 1-2 ounces for the entire pizza. Each slice had only one or two tiny pieces of ham or pineapple, if we were lucky. The pizza was so thin and floppy that we had to resort to using a pocket knife to cut it into manageable pieces.
The taste was equally disappointing--flavorless and bland. We've had frozen pizzas from the grocery store that were far superior in quality and taste. For $30, I expected a real pizza, with a thick crust, plenty of sauce, and generous toppings. Instead, we received something that was worse than a frozen thin-crust pizza.
To add insult to injury, when we set out to obtain a knife to cut the pizza, none were to be found. It's beyond frustrating to think that we paid so much for such a subpar product.
I truly cannot recommend this establishment. It's a shame they've set up shop in Rathdrum, and unless they drastically improve, I can't imagine them finding success here. Save your money and your appetite-look elsewhere...

My wife and I make a trip to the area yearly and try to look for new and unique experiences from year to year. We sure found a gem in Cascadia Pizza Co.!!! The manager on duty was so welcoming and helpful. Learning it was our first time there, he was kind enough to walk us through the process and comp us a cheesey garlic bread for our first time dining there.
Shane brought us our pizza and immediately apologized that my pizza was overcooked, to their standards. Despite being completely ok with the way it was cooked, Shane ensured me another pizza was already in the oven and would be out shortly at no additional cost.
The service didn't stop there... every interaction with the crew was so customer focused, ensuring we were well taken care of. Highly impressed!!!
The food??? I've gone on so much about the service, how could I forgotten the food? THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! The ingredients shine throughout. I had the Berkeley; my wife, the tried and true pepperoni. The dough, which was confirmed, is made in house.
Thoroughly impressed from start to finish. We look forward to joining you again...

Wood fired pizza sure sounds great. I've had wood fired pizza a few times at other places in the past and enjoyed it. They didn't however have ashy cigarette tray as the dominant flavor. The fire is supposed to accent the pizza's flavor. Sadly for Cascadia, there was nothing to accent and ash was all I tasted.
The crust at the edge had very good texture with just the right amount of crunch...But it tasted like nothing. It was too thin and too dangling-skin-flappy in the middle for my liking. I would rather not have to retrieve my toppings from the pan after they slid off my slice. The sauce might as well have not been on it; zero flavor. Clearly no effort put into that one. Sausage was good. None of the veggies were that great. Toppings were sparse. Very little cheese was used; I actually like that part. Overall the pizza was bland bland bland, thus giving the ash so much authority.
30 bucks for a 14" pizza that's barely got any toppings and even less flavor.
Would not choose to eat this...
