Fantastic! I enjoyed the Beer Cheese Soup that I heard so much about, and tried one of their IPAs and it was the best I've ever had. I also really loved the Classic Rock playing,, the atmosphere, and how fun and friendly our server was! Definitely recommend this amazing place! The menu is amazing too... So creative and each sound SO delicious! Gourmet delights! The above experience is from over a year ago... I went back yesterday and once again, everything was fantastic. We had the Bacon macaroni and cheese egg roll wraps for an appetizer, then I ordered the Mill Street burger with Parmesan Garlic fries and Gorgonzola dip and Ranch Dill dip (I liked the Gorgonzola better). The burger and fries were delicious! My partner had a croissant with turkey in it. He said it was delicious too. The service was phenomenal again! Our waitress was very attentive and fun. We had a great time! Mon August 15, 2022 I was there again and it was great again. I had The Conductor IPA. It was my friend's first visit there, so he asked if he could have samples of their brews. She brought out an impressive set of glasses with the names of each of the beers on the custom made wooden tray. He really liked all of the beers. He was hesitant to try the dark stout, but said it tasted like chocolate, and it did! Turned out it was a coffee mocha beer. One of the men working there said they also serve a peanut butter flavored beer. It was absolutely unbelievable. It was delicious and tasted just like peanut butter... We thought it would be interesting to try the chocolate one and the peanut butter one over ice cream and maybe have a Reese's experience, except with beer! Anyway, he ended up choosing the Blonde one, and we shared a plate of sweet potato fries that had bacon, jalapeno, a hot sauce, blue cheese crumbles, and other ingredients. It was delicious but hot. We both had a big glass of water with it too. My friend just sent me a text this morning thanking me for introducing him to a really cool brewery! He loved the atmosphere, ambiance, decor, staff, layout, everything! He was also really impressed to see how many people were there on a Monday, eating and having a brew! Good job Westwood! You just gained another fan! He said...
Read moreWe travel from Spokane to this place. It was a little wait so I'm thinking should be good. Fish pretty good, Prime Rib was good and our first waiter tried. Other then that, downhill. First they are out of the first 3 beers we tried to order. Okay, I'm easy going I will find something I like. Then we we order the steak and he comes back and they are out of the 10oz steak but they will do 2 -6oz steaks so again, Okay. Then we get the steaks, ordered medium and it's very rare. So we catch the waiter to see if he can take it back and cook it more. He says well what did you order? Medium. And so he takes it back. Then he brings it back and we cut it open still not medium. So he brings it back a third time set it down and says its good he check the temp and it was at 135. So its still red and okay. We are now done so we will just leave and not go back. Then another waitress comes to the table and ask how was dinner? So we tell her about the steak. She says she will go and find out about it. She comes back and tells us it was temped an 130 and we may want to order it medium well next time but she well give us a beer for our trouble. Great Thanks! See attached guide for medium compared to what we received! We had really looked forward to this place as we'd previously heard good things. We are disappointed to say.....we will...
Read moreWe've been going to our summer cabin at Twin Lakes for decades and have tried our share of Rathdrum restaurants. None memorable...ever. Well... there's a new kid in town called Westwood Brewing Co. and Rathdrum now has a place that is out of character in a very, very, good way! This is a place that would fit right in at Aspen, Vail, or Whistler - any high-end resort town.
We had a very attentive staff who worked efficiently as a team to get us food on time, keep our drinks full, and clear our settings. Zachery - you were awesome, who trained you to be so good?! We had the Bacon & Blue Ribeye (all three of us - we had heard about it) and it was delicious, served with a fully loaded baked potato and grilled corn on the cob. I'm a sucker for good desserts, we tried their blueberry topped cheesecake and breadpudding and it seemed they were home made - they were their own interpretation and we liked them.
BTW, don't miss the urinal (pictured) in the restroom just past the women's. Finally, we were told they have been brewing themselves and it's rumored they will start serving their own brew at the end...
