When staying in Galena's west area this is a good place to have breakfast. Oh sure, you can eat the cold grab and go, serve yourself, pre-packaged "free" breakfast at your motel but why not treat yourself to a hot fresh breakfast or lunch and a good cup of coffee and support a local business to boot. Emmy's ain't fancy but the locals go there, as was the case the Wednesday we were there, which is saying something. My corned beef hash could have been a bit crisper but it tasted great. Over easy eggs were perfectly "over easy". My wife enjoyed blueberry French toast with a side of ham and we each took advantage of the good cup of coffee. (we were the only 2 customers there) She also jumped all over the dishwasher and waitress again about something else. All of this where customers could see and hear. She was belligerent and so rude!
