Mojitos Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Raymore

The waiter was very rude I have went to this restaurant before it was called something else they recently changed the name was not happy with the service the mail I got was supposed to come with rice which they failed to bring us they charged me for an extra drink that we did not order they charged us for chips and salsa even though the chips were the ones they served at the beginning of the meal we did not finish them and wanted to take them home so they charged us for chips and salsa did not understand that the fact that they charged us for the chips the extra drink we did not order I felt they were just trying to add extra things and act like oh I'm sorry it was a mistake had I not paid attention I wouldn't have known I asked for a receipt and when they all they did was on a ticker-tape put totals in failed to put what the totals were for which is why I questioned what each item was and that's when I found out they had added extra items branded didn't come up to that much more but if they've added $5 to mine how many more customers had things added without their knowledge because they don't give an actual receipt when you request one it's just on a ticker-tape and it's just the dollar amount so you don't get to see what was actually purchased to me this is...

It is so hard to find good Mexican food in the area after spending so many years in Las Vegas...but after several visits, I can comfortably say Mojito's surpasses every standard I have.

The only thing I would take a point away for is the use of ground beef as opposed to shredded beef in most beef dishes. Due to this, I frequently order anything with chicken. Burrito Jalisco is phenomenal and is a massive amount of food and value. The alhambras are my go to though. Shrimp, grilled steak, and grilled chicken with bell peppers, onion, bacon, and cheese?!?! It can't be topped...with anything other than their SPICY salsa. I wish they would can this stuff and sell it retail. The normal salsa is a bit underwhelming (mainly just tastes like tomatoe sauce) but the spicy variety is on a whole different planet.

Most importantly the staff is aways very welcoming, friendly, and helpful! I have never had a visit whether it be for in person dining or for carry out where the staff didn't make a concerted effort to ensure I left happy and satisfied.

I had an average experience at this restaurant. It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t the best Mexican cuisine either. I got pollo fundido, with a hard taco on the side and my date got the pollo mojitos. The service was very fast and super friendly and the restaurant was well decorated and clean. However the food was pretty much average. My chicken didn’t seem to be seasoned and it didn’t have enough cheese sauce on top of it. The chips and salsa were alright, the salsa was just a little watery. Also my rice was mushy. The horchata tasted a little bit fruity but over all it was good. My hard taco was decent it just tasted like something I could make at home. My date really enjoyed his food he usually gets the Raymore special but he wanted to try something new. For a small town this is a decent restaurant there are just a few things...
