We are a family of 9 (two parents and 7 children under 7 years old) and are visiting the area for a couple days from out of state. We decided to stop in to get some pizza for the kids. I (dad) had already eaten recently so didn't plan on getting anything, which I actually felt kind of guilty about. So I ordered a 12 dollar drink at least. My wife got a chopped salad and we ordered a large pepperoni pizza for the kids to share.
First kind gesture (beyond the genuinely friendly greetings from what seemed to be the owner/manager and the waitress) was when the waitress realized we only got one pizza for all the kids and asked if we wanted it cut into smaller pieces. Of course we said that would be great! The pizza was also on special since it was Wednesday (we didn't realize this until after), so a large cheese pizza was only $10 (have to pay for toppings). That is an insane price for the great quality honestly, if I lived here I'd be taking the kids for two of those every Wednesday.
Finally, as we were about to pay, the owner/manager (a taller man with a beard), asked me if he could get the kids some cannolis for dessert since they were so well behaved. This particularly took me aback because I already felt guilty for not ordering an entree and our bill only came to like $37.00 without tip.
I told him please he didn't have to do that but he insisted. So they brought out 8 cannoli for all the kids, which obviously they loved! The waitresses were all interacting with the kids as we finished up and everyone couldn't have been nicer. You could just tell this was a place where people enjoyed working. You could also tell this manager did this out of the sheer kindness of his heart, and that it made him genuinely happy to do so.
All in all, we couldn't have had a better experience at Anthony's. If you live in the area, or are visiting, please take your money to this...
Read moreI’m not a big flatbread pizza guy, but my parents swear by this place as the pinochle of pizza perfection, so I suppose to each their own. This places only gets 4/5 for its lack of variety in terms of menu items, however if I could give it a 4.5 I’d do it, because what they offer is still very good. Very good atmosphere, the outdoor bar area is very cool And of course, Garlic Bread review: 6.5/10 Anthony’s goes for the infamous flatbread garlic bread. Honestly, I was throughly impressed by the texture of this garlic bread, as most flatbread garlic breads are all crunch with nothing to savor. Although it’s almost too reliant on oil and marinara sauce dip to be considered anything above a 7. The garlic bread has a nice soft inside, defying the stereotype of flatbread garlic breads. Garlic bread is an integral part of any authentic Italian restaurant, and overall the garlic brea there holds its own. In terms of Flatbread garlic bread I must say that this place is a mold breaking establishment and goes against the status quo that many flatbread garlic bread places have propped up over the past decades. There have definitely been better garlic breads, but overall it was a very solid garlic bread

Read moreTerrible service here. As a minority and not very shy about it. Many of the reviews by Caucasian decent are pretty positive and raving. My husband is African American and me Muslim and we were not serviced we had to ask for everything. Empty cups. And one waitress took 10 minutes to make me water. I did not drink it. I’m simple but this was the dirtiest, racist restaurant I have ever been to. They look like they’re struggling financially. And clearly need a broom. They didn’t even clean our table; crumbs in excess, cold food and vey nasty except the pizza. I believe our food may have been tampered with. And the white servers couldn’t stop staring. Everything tasted like it was sitting for days. If the commenters think this is good food then you’ve definitely never had quality pizza. From New York to Cali and Atlanta. This is the worst restaurant we have ever been to. With the pro minority movement going on all over the world, this didn’t hurt us. You proved the world right that minorities are definitely treated differently by white Americans. You only hurt yourselves. As time goes on it proves the fight for...
