Ave Maria Taqueria — Restaurant in Reading

The food overall tasted good but I order chickens tacos like I usually do. And these tacos are so skimped it's not even funny.... and 10 for $15 isn't bad but I know places that are 10 for $10 and they STUFF their tacos. Im usually full after 2-3 but these tacos I just got I'm sitting here almost full after 4. And in my opinion the tortillas are overcooked. I mean don't get me wrong it tasted good but for the money it's not worth it. I will be sticking to El Jaliscos on green st!!!! I wish I had a picture of the tacos I get from Jaliscos for comparison because I'm telling yall they be STUFFEDD. (The chicken for sure i dont know about everything else lol). Oh yea and after all that i called ahead they said it was 10 for $10 exactly but cash only I get there and they say $15 okay cool and then when I'm scrolling down to finish the review it asks what dishes would i recommend and it says "$10 for 10 tacos" like stop with the false...

Reading is definitely known for having some of the best taco spots in Pennsylvania. There are a ton of hidden gems in the city, and Ave Maria Taqueria is definitely one of them! Ave Maria was recommended to me by Lola's Ice Owner, Cesar Arroyo, a fellow Mexican, and he said it was his favorite taco spot in town! He didn't disappoint me with his recommendation! Ave Maria's tacos were extremely fresh and were loaded with meat! It is definitely being overshadowed by the bigger taco restaurants literally right next to it, but next time you are craving tacos stop in and try their food! Everything was going great until we got the check. Now I have written about this same thing on one of my previous reviews and I’m sad to say it has happened again. PRICING IS DIFFERENT ON THE BILL THAN WHATS ON THE MENU.
