Updating to include the actual store manager followed up and corrected the situation. My interaction with the manager(she claimed), Sabrina at Dunks on Walker's Brook Drive. As I approached the counter, Sabrina was wiping the floor with her bare hands and paper towels. Okay, fine. No problem. Well between the time that she was wiping the floor with her bare hands and grabbing a cup to make my coffee, she did not wash her hands at all. I kindly asked if she could wash her hands before making my coffee because she was just wiping the floor. She walked to the "rinse" sink and rinsed her hands with waterfur about 5 seconds, there was no soap at this station. She then proceeded to make my coffee, which I didn't touch. I asked for the manager, and to my surprise she IS the manager! I tried to question her about rinsing vs. washing and she told me "it's the same thing, basically"! She then asked me if I wash my hands at home before I make my coffee?!?! After I wipe the floor, I sure do. This manager, Sabrina then explains to me, that she CAN'T wash her hands with soap because her hand is INFECTED!!!! She has a piercing on her hand which she pointed out that was infected! At this point I asked her for her for a refund, refused the coffee and asked for her manager's contact info because she seemed to think that because she's the manager whatever she says goes despite what the health code requirements are. She refused to give me contact information for her district manager, but gave me her first name only. I was so surprised that instead of washing her hands, she decided it would be better to argue with me about WHY she still will not wash her hands. I've never had an experience like this at this location, or any dunks for...
Read moreTerrible Dunkin location. There were 2 cars ahead of me in the drive-thru. I waited about 10 minutes until it was my turn at the speaker. I waited for another five minutes without any level of communication (no, "Just a second" or anything). I tried saying "hello" into the speaker a few times but no response, so I pulled up to the window to talk to a person. I told the man working the window that I thought the speaker may be broken so I wanted to order a coffee from him. He told me the speaker works fine and I should've waited longer (...they don't have a timer or anything on this guy?). I said I waited about 5 minutes, and he ignored that and said that I have to drive back around and start over. I asked why he can't take my order, and he said the people behind me have been waiting for a long time (!). I said that I was waiting in front of them, longer, and I wanted to order. He shrugged me off and closed the window in my face + walked away. What...in the world.
Outside of this one incident, there have been a couple times the employees are hanging outside instead of inside, and while I'm waiting at the drive-thru they'll take their time walking back inside to take my order- like I'm bothering them by trying to...
Read moreI came in to the dunks looking for the spider straw topper. It was 7:40p a few nights ago, website and store hours for dunks is til 8p with drive thru open til 9p. Per Google, anyways there was an older man who was super rude when I was excited to see the spider collection. He barked at me “we are closed”. Mean while I’m like there is still 15 minutes left. Whether or not he had coverage is irrelevant, you do not speak to customers like that regardless of the day you had. If you can’t handle a customer service base job then go do something else. So being so miserable and change what you don’t like. This location has always been the worst, whether it’s wrongly made orders or just the staffs crappy attitudes. Think twice before going into this specific dunks, id rather drive the extra 5 minutes...
