Nella's Pizza — Restaurant in Reading

Oh my was this place a hit! Found it through Marriott Eat Around Town.

Small local spot with the nicest employees. I believe the owner (lady) also helped me. I asked to try their sweet sauce as a sample and she happily made some more. I then asked to do a mix of it with the traditional sauce on my pizza which she happily obliged.

Order the small meat lovers and every bit of it tasted like high quality fresh ingredients. The dough was perfectly cooked. The bacon was crispy and the other meats tasted great.

Their pizza prices for the quality are excellent. It was $16.99 for the 12" which was a perfect size. I did manage to eat the whole thing myself.

This is some of the best pizza I've tried anywhere and truly suggest you make a visit. Nellas did not disappoint and the extra value on Marriot plus Upside is a wonderful...

Ordered a couple times to hopefully find something better on the menu. Bella's seems to be a typical pizza shop with the same menu as every other place anywhere. Food quality I give a 6/10, flavor 4/10 not the worst but nowhere near the best. They do have the best garlic bread in town but that's not enough. Each time I ordered delivery. I added instructions to call on arrival. They never call, they ring the bell and wake up my kid. The marinara sauce taste like it's from a can or bag with no seasonings added. I don't normally leave bad reviews but I was displeased after giving many chances. Pizza is ok, calzones are better then average but small compared to other places. Online ordering is difficulte, not enough options to customize. Kind of like your being told it's Nella's way or the highway. So I guess I'm choosing...

The food is good (especially pizza/calzones/subs) but they've gotten our order incorrectly twice in the past few weeks. First time we had a fairly large order and they gave us someone's mozzerella sticks instead of a sub, I called and they made a new sub to bring over as quickly as they could. The second time last week, the delivery person even joked stating "hope everything is correct this time". We only ordered three things but unfortunately the pesto pasta I ordered for my vegetarian brother had chicken in it and was very dry. He asked me not to call them to correct it. The food is good but I hope they pay closer attention to the orders/restate it on the phone...
