Russo's Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Reading

I ordered online and it was delivery quickly and the driver was friendly. The food also arrived hot and there was plenty of it. It's pretty pricey for some of the food! The food tasted OK/average...could have been seasoned a bit more. I also asked for extra sauce on the side and never received it although I was willing to pay extra for it. The garlic bread is nothing more than hotdog buns! Not French or Italian bread...especially for the price you pay! The seasoning on it is lacking a bit.

The website sucks, imo. There's no images of the food except for the 2 on the main page. There should be images for each order. There's also be details of what's in each order BEFORE you order it. How do you know what's in it? You could be allergic to it or just don't like something. The only options to save your information are Facebook and Google. Here's news flash, not everyone uses or likes using them.

They also charge extra for an "online fee" to bring you the best experience possible? Really??? I know some VERY crappy restaurants that have MUCH better websites! I can't believe they paid someone to make their site!

On the plus side, they do have a variety of payment options. A lot of their competitors do not...

It's clean inside, all of the workers are super nice and polite...pizza is usually always very good...But, on this last visit there, my fiance ordered a slice of meat lovers (which he did highly enjoy) and I had ordered just a slice of plain....the total came up to right below $9 (that's without any drinks) so my only complaint is that my slice of plain that I had ordered was so extremely small, it basically was a slice of pizza cut into 2 slices, so honestly, even tho we both agreed that the pizza was good, for the amount that we had paid, I was very disappointed!! My half of a slice definitely should not have cost the amount that it did for the size they have served to me.(In the photo, I placed a $1 bill next to it to show the actual size comparison.) But I do enjoy Russo's pizza, so I know that I will def go bk there!! so hopefully the next time I return this situation will not happen again so I can give it the rating it...

I will admit Russo's has delicious pizza, and that's what I would usually get when I go there.... This time, I wanted something different. it was lunch time I felt like I wanted a sandwich... so I had ordered an Italian hoagie (large) which the large was $9 but for pickles and hot peppers it was a $1 EXTRA EACH!! So I was EXTREMELY let down when I opened my hoagie.... There was literally 3 pieces of meat on it and a giant handful of lettuce with the cheapest pickles ever!! I only walked not even half a block to eat my hoagie and my entire roll was completely soggy!! This was a total let down!! So if you happen to go here.... ABSOLUTELY order the pizza.... but DO NOT waste your money on these...
