Starbucks — Restaurant in Readington Township

I was extremely disappointed, my boyfriend and I are from Pennsylvania and frequently go to our Starbucks out there. We were on our way home from New York and just wanted a quick drink. We came off of the highway because there was a sign saying a Starbucks was right there, it wasn't. It was two and a half miles into town. It was fairly busy inside, as expected. After placing our order a group of young girls came in, half of them got their drink before I did, even though I ordered something extremely similar, as did my boyfriend. Every body else including customers after that group had received their drinks before he did though, when approaching the cashier about the missing drink the employees stared at each other when one admitted she put it on the back counter because she thought that's where one person told her to, we were handed the drink that had been sitting for 10-15 minutes and left with no apologies from any employee and hadn't tasted our drinks because we were in a hurry. Not as if anyone in the store cared. When returning to the car it appears both of the drinks are terrible and I cannot drink mine it is so much syrup. There is no time to go back. Been at the same Starbucks for over 15 years, and today when I ordered some drinks there, I asked for a straw for my iced latte, and this lady just threw the straw on the counter. Then I saw some drink carriers and took one myself, then this same lady who threw the straw on the counter said “next time you gotta ask” EXCUSE ME?!?! Since when did this Starbucks store started putting all the straws and drink carriers in the back??? Perhaps I don’t want to deal with that coffee barista’s attitude. I honestly hope Brian, the store manager, do something about leaving the straws and drink carriers in the back, every time customers have to request them, I’m sure it’s an extra step for both the baristas...

Awful experience, we will never go back to this place again! We go here often, someone stole our drinks we ordered online, then they ran out of the food we ordered which they charged us for. Didn’t want to make right on refunding money I paid for food or drinks that someone stole which is awful in itself. Then charged me for my coffee I ordered while in here dealing with this mess. I’m very disappointed in this place this has never happen first and last we will never go to this place again. I was treated very poorly asked to produce proof of purchase like I was lying, I felt discriminated against, just awful! I will not be going to this place again, we will go to other...
