Aug 10, 2021 – This was our first time dining at Domo since the pandemic struck. Not much has changed except that clear partitions have been installed between some tables. We ordered the Spicy Chicken Bento Box (includes sushi, California rolls, shrimp & vegetable tempura, rice with choice of miso soup or salad) and the Gop Dol Bi Bim Bap (assorted vegetables over rice with beef and egg in a stone bowl with miso soup). Both were great. For those who have never had their meal served in a searing hot stone bowl, the rice touching the bowl is sizzling and made crispy. I suggest that you start stirring and turning the food as soon as it is brought to your table or it may burn. The service was great as always… The staff took our orders promptly and stopped by regularly to check on our drinks.

Stopped here for a breather after driving 4 hours on a cross country trip. Couldn’t have picked a better place to sample. Not too many Japanese restaurants close to home. Wasn’t too hungry but their specials board boasted some amazing looking dishes. Ended up with some fried beef gyoza and Harumaki. Both were amazing, hot, and fresh! The Harumaki did squirt a bit when biting into it, keep a napkin close or a bib. Word to the wise, give this place a try. You will end up going there more than once, for sure! Enjoy your meal! どうぞお召し上がりください Dōzo omeshiagarikudasai

There is another Japanese restaurant after we visited Round Valley Reservoir. But this one is on the same route to home. So we decide to give this Japanese restaurant a try. Turns out to be a great experience. Chirashi has a good selection of raw fish and the amount is reasonable compared to some Japanese restaurant of which fish is as thin as paper. Nabe yaki udon is even better with chewy noodles and HUGE crunchy and well fried shrimp tempura.

Avoid!! I would not recommend getting food from here. I was hoping to find a lunch place near work that was open on Tuesday since my go to spot is not. I ordered a $13 sunomono (I always get this at sushi places and this was incredibly small for the price), a two roll combo lunch special, and ordered the 'spicy crunch crab salad' for $11 to bring home. Needless to say, the crab salad was a PACKED romaine and cucumber salad topped with maybe one small scoop of crab salad. Essentially the salad you get free with your lunch special plus one small scoop of crabmeat, and they charge $13-nice trick. A few pieces into my spicy tuna roll, I tasted a very strong sour taste so I spat everything out and tossed the food. Wouldn't recommend eating here, and hoping I dont get sick from the food today.

I should've read the other reviews because there were older reviews that complained about the fish quality, pricing, and proportions. Avoid at all costs! They are charging good quality prices for...

If I could give 0 stars I would. im not one of those people that 'checks in' and or leaves a review about every breakfast lunch and dinner I have but when a place is this terrible I feel obligated to share. The owner of this business could not be more rude or less professional. The $17 speciality roll my girlfriend ordered was not as described on the menu and she could not eat it. We brought it to the attention of the staff and they took it away. When the bill came the roll was still on it totalling $65 for the two of us (byob). I asked to speak to the manager or owner. The owner was one of the sushi chefs who came out and rudely stated that the roll would not be taken off of the bill. I stated the roll was not as described and he shrugged his shoulders. I stated that I did not want to make a scene but if the roll was not taken off of the bill I would never come back, he again shrugged his shoulders. I wouldn't go back to this place if the...
