I would give zero stars if I could but unable to do so. I stopped by there yesterday (Motherâs Day) to buy an alligator and a old fashioned glazed donut. The Maple glazed alligator at first glance looked decent so did the old fashioned. I got them home and gave my daughter the Alligator.
They are supposed to be filled with whipped cream, but the whipped cream was piped along the edges making it look fuller than it actually was when there was less than a tablespoon of it on the inside. It was mostly just greasy stale bready donut that was oddly not very sweet? She ate a few bites then threw the rest away. I found my daughter sick on the floor in the bathroom not long later, I felt awful.
The old fashioned glazed was mine. I thought it was strange how much grease was soaked into the the outside of the paper bag but didnât think much of it at first. I took a bite of it, it wasnât good at all it was greasy and tasted like old oilâŚ. Not even close to what it should taste like. I had to throw it away after two bites. Had upset stomach the rest of the evening.
If you are in Red Bluff, please save yourself the money and stomach ache and go to Kevinâs donuts (or Krispy Kreme if you are coming through Chico) instead. Much better quality either way and much cleaner. Will never...
Read moreI went in for donuts and went to pay with my card. He took it from me and pressed debit without asking debit or credit first. My card declined so he turned the screen to me so I pressed credit and it went through. A receipt immediately was texted to my phone showing the transaction was successful and he then asked me for my id with my card in his hand he wouldnât give it back to me and i said i donât have it my friend drove me here and was watching this incident take place. We argued about it and i cried before he handed my card back and said only this time heâd let it slide. Worst service i have had that shouldnât have happened. I donât understand. This happened tonight...
Read moreEven though this place has a pleasent appearance inside I have to give it a low rating because of the food and high prices. Sadly this place does not know how to make a quality raised donut. Way too much dough, like eating a brick. If they didn't waste so much dough they might be able to charge less money. It's evident by the high ratings that the residents here have not had a real donut in some time. A raised donut should be light and crispy... Not something that is so thick it can hardly even be finished. For a superior quality product, try Donut House in Redding. You can buy more than one and not feel like a bloated balloon. I have yet to find a better donut shop...
