I have been going to this place for years now, Lunmberjacks is by far our family go to place to eat. Great service, great atmosphere, great food! I really enjoy how they have season “Spotlight” mini menu of food. There pancakes are a little on the sweet side, I know how can pancakes be to sweet but they are and when you add the sweet butter on top, just adds to it. BUT still really good! One cake is about all the sugar I can handle in one sitting. There coffee is out of this world. Coffee at a dinner makes it or breaks it, if the coffee is horrible I will never go there again. To many good things to list them all! Now the only reason they are not getting a 5 star rather then the 4 star I am giving them, is due to the fact they have a new manager there. Ewardo was the previous manager and he made the place! He was the shining light the second you open the door. Would always come to your table and see how the food was and if there is anything he could do. It is sad that he is gone. The new manager is normally no where to be found, he or she has never come to my table to check up or really anything. Idk if they hide in there office all day but I have never seen he or she on the floor doing anything. I go there regularly so this is not coincidental. Beside the lack of leadership that I see as a customer, the place is still great.

I came here by myself for lunch, just after noon. There was no wait and I was sat immediately. My waitress, Brittney, was fantastic. She was kind and popped by the table just enough to be a great waitress in my book. I always disliked servers who are either nowhere to be found or always around and asking you questions when you just took a bite of your food! She was perfect! I originally planned on ordering breakfast, but the picture of the prime rib sandwich won me over. So that's what I ordered. And I sprung for the sweet potato fries at an extra charge of $1.26. The food took no time to come out and was really good. The fries were a bit too hot and needed to cool down before I could taste them. But that just meant they were fresh. I did notice that they charge a $3 fee if you come with one other person and order one meal to share between the both of you. This is the first time I've seen a restaurant charge a "splitting fee". But if that doesnt deter you, this place is a great. All in all, I was in and out in under an hour. Hoping to come back with co-workers so I can try more items from the menu.

Ok, bear with me, I hate saying bad things...so. Staff was great, helpful, friendly and courteous. Place was clean. However, all food is Sysco or Unifi, with very little done to enhance them beyond heating them up. Appetizer sampler, chicken tenders, onion rings, motz sticks and sweet potato fries, all over cooked in old burned oil and straight off the truck. Ordered the $27 ribeye, asked specifically if it was thick or thin, told over half inch. Ordered it medium, came out rare (super thin, less than 1/4 inch, cooked from frozen is my guess), they made another..well done. My wife's taco salad exceeded expectations. Again, all straight from a truck, but executed well and HUGE. Good value. Got coconut cream pie. Again, straight from a truck, then they thawed it (custard still a liquid) and put whipped cream on it, not the cooked merengue in the picture. Place was busy all day ( had errands all around it, parking lot was full), so it is popular, and despite business being good, quick friendly service. Problems do not appear to be staff, but menu decisions and execution.

Yesterday we had the worst meal we have ever had in a restaurant. In the past we had been reasonably pleased with the food, though it was never real quality, just huge amounts. It is hard to know where to begin to explain why our experience was so awful. First of all, we wanted beef stroganoff as displayed on the flyer at our table. We were told that they didn't have any because they were having trouble getting cream of mushroom soup. Seriously, they couldn't make beef stroganoff without canned cream of mushroom soup (which I can easily do at home) unbelievable, makes me wonder how much actual cooking they do or are most items pre-made. Next, I ordered a baked potato that was barely warm with a wad of cheese in the center that was like a ball of glue that I had trouble cutting through with a knife. The coleslaw looked odd and tasted worse, neither one of us could eat it, it actually 'looked old and spoiled.' Then our wait person was pushing the sale of two-week-old pumpkin pies left over from Thanksgiving. Seriously, two weeks old! We were shocked at the overall lack of quality of the food served and then with a cost of $60.00 for two of us without dessert it was a huge rip off and left us feeling disgusted in more ways than one. Lumberjack was never a first choice, but it was passable, now it seems prices are up, and quality is down. As of now we have decided never to go there again and removed them from our list of acceptable...

Great food. Great workers. Sometimes a little crowded. A lot of the older locals and etc like to come here. The food is good and the price is fair so it would make sense why the cone here.

Parking is horrendous. It's at the intersection of a very populated and crowded main road that is 200 feet away from the main freeway that runs through the heart of or city.

The corner lot they do occupy is extremely small. It is sharing the small lot property with two larger but small retailers as well as a few other stores in such a rounded another random business in the middle of one side of the parking lot.

Also to add you have to experience the restaurant from the ugly side first before you get it around to the front of the building that has a theme of "Northern California Forest outpost" and it does a good job of showing it and definitely feels like it's a part of the local scenic view here.

But regardless of how the outside of the restaurant looks the location, the parking situation. It comes down to the food and the food is good. I have had a couple times of meals that were not shown the attention needed, which leads to not so appeasing meals. Those are few and far between. If you end up having a horrendous meal, you just have the best worst luck of the food lottery. I'm not going to go as far as to vouch for this restaurant. But if you're already planning on going anyway, we definitely wouldn't discourage it. It's definitely...
