This park is OK for people, but good for dogs. This is an off-leash big natural trail dog park, so if that is what you are looking for, this park is awesome. As far as a people park goes though, It is not as clean and well kept as it was in these zoomed in photos, and unfortunately you can see the industrial buildings next to the park from inside it. Not sure if it’s all the traffic on the bridge/road or something in the environment, but the air just kind of smells dirty here. Powerlines run right through it too. However, if you are a boater, they have a ton of boater only parking and river access which is pretty cool. There were some homeless in the park, but they weren’t causing any trouble. This park is locked from...

Went here for the first time with my husband and two kids. Beautiful area with wide main trails, cool bridges and several smaller, hiker-made paths. Lots of river access. Saw some geese and a muskrat. It’s an offleash area so we were approached by some dogs but they were friendly and we expected it. Very peaceful for being right in the city. The only weird thing were the cutouts of random animals (girafffe, toucan, elephant) placed throughout the trails. I feel like it took away from the natural scenery and I would’ve preferred images of native animals but it’s not a big deal. Will come back in the summer to see how the...

Are you kidding me, this is the best off leash dog park anywhere. The people that walk their dogs here are the best, and all the dogs are friendly. My dog loves it. PS, my dog is a rescue, I would say 90% of the people I meet walking their dogs are also rescue dog owners. What a great community of people and puppies!! I have never saw any illegal camping in the park, decent park security presence and very little trash. This might have been a issue in the past, I just don't see it. Public restrooms in parks are always sketchy, so no...
