Monroe's Nightclub & Karaoke — Restaurant in Redding

Monroe's is the place my wife and I have been hanging out at couple nights a week the last 4 years or so. We think it's great!

Brandy is your lead KJ (Karaoke Jockey). She's an amazing singer and has been the Mistress of ceramonies at Reddings Cabaret of hidden vocal talent for 20yrs (give or take).

Her co- hosts are Brook and Dottie, who keep the music alive on those nights Brandy is away. They too are incredibly talented singer's whose beauty, grace and indomitable spirits make Munroe's a wonderful place to share your voice.

Whether it be your first time on a stage or your hundred and first these wonderful ladies will help you to find your song and bolster your courage so you can can share your voice with an eclectic gathering of Reddings "friends and neighbors".

Munroe's also serves generously portioned mouth watering cuisine with something for every one and a wide variety of beverages.

The pours are delicious and effective, and the pulls, icy cold.

Your bartenders in the evening are "Ami", "Danny" and "Marci".

Their diverse, energetic, non-judgmental, downright infectious personalities nurture and encourage grace and consideration from their customer's while kindling joy, passion, revelry and mirth. Making it very difficult to leave Munroe's without a smile and more often than not, a new friend.

And let us not forget our un-sung hero's "Adam, Evan and the new Fuller Brush man (with all new slip resistant handle)".

Gentlemen who diligently, unobtrusively and patiently watch over us through out the evening They help, they guide, and they gently shepard us, while ecouraging all to enjoy themselves.

And on those rare occasions it becomes necessary, they graciously intervene on our behalf sometimes having to put themselves at risk to keep us safe from "bad decisions". Whether those decisions be that of the obnoxious drunk two tables over, or the one standing in your shoes, they attend to these situations with unyielding courage. Aporting themselves with compassion, respect and a "real" desire to see all of their charges, their customer's, "us", safe, at peace and able to hold our heads up when all is said and done.

Munroe's is a throw back to a time when a bar and its patrons were a community unto themselves. Dedicated to preserving a place where every hardworking "individual" could come together, be themselves relax their inhibitions and get to know each other. A place people can shed the restraints of an ever more restrictive and judgmental society be themselves and maybe a little more, for a while with friends, family, or someone new.

Munroes stands apart and shines like a beacon in the sea of cookie cutter franchise bars filled with jittery, plastic, pretentious, self serving corporate, or wanna be corporate sycophants, and the poor suffering Zombies that have been hired to serve them.

Me and my wife invite you to come on down to enjoy a real neighborhood bar. Trust me, it won't be long till everyone will know your name.

I have been a patron of Monroe’s for over 10 years now. I’ve always enjoyed my taco Tuesday lunch, my after work happy hour on the patio, listening to karaoke during the week a few times a month, of course the random shutting the bar down nights, and the occasional attempt to win big at 3 card poker. I have never once felt unsafe in this establishment. I’ve always felt the bartenders are well aware of the environment and the people in it. I’ve been there as a married woman & a single woman. I’ve been there with friends and all by myself and again not once have I ever felt unsafe. I absolutely love this club! I've been going here for a number of years and have never been disappointed. The karaoke and drink specials are second to none. Not to mention the service is great and quick. Danny and his Rockstar bar tenders will amaze and excite you with their skills. Oh and did I mention they have excellent food and there is a live game of Texas hold em' 24 hours (covid hours may be different) I would bring my grandma here because of the atmosphere is so Mello and I have taken my oldest son here for his 21st birthday to show him what a real bar is all about.
