My family and I come get Boba here every Tuesday. This Tuesday we missed it due to work but we came in on Thursday because my 5 year old loves this place and was begging me to take her. When we started coming here years ago, we would always asked if the strawberry slushy had a dairy in it due to food allergies my daughter has. We eventually stopped asking because she always gets the same thing and we know it’s made with water. On Thursday we ordered our usually drinks but this time I brought one of my employees with me and she ordered a drink with dairy. I was watching the worker make the drinks and noticed she pick up a rag that was sitting on the counter and wiped my employees drink with it and then used the same rag to wipe down my daughters. I asked her to remake my daughters due to allergies so she did. She then walked over to me and said, Next time let the employee know about your daughter’s food allergies because how are we suppose to know! I looked at her and said, You forgot the Boba. She started to laugh but not because it was funny, more of a pissed off laugh that she needed to remake it. Another young later came over to help her who we see all the time when we go in. After they made her drink, I asked the girl what her name was because I was to say Thank you for remaking it and I figured she was new and wanted to tell her we have all been new in a job and it was ok. She then stood tall, placed her hand on her hip and said GISELLE! With lots of attitude. I told her she didn’t need to be rude to us because I was just trying to thank her. For me. I didn’t want to react in front of my daughter or employee but I wanted to tell her that’s not how to speak to people, especially customers who come in often. I was very disgusted because I own a business and my employees know never to use the same rag twice especially if the items are not the same. After we walked out, we saw the two ladies looking at us and talking which made me feel very uncomfortable. I emailed the owners and asked for a phone call which I never received. I’m sad to say that we won’t be returning after...

With so many boba spots in Redlands, Chaca Tea Bar is a bit more tucked away. It’s located in the Citrus Village Shopping Center, which makes it less central compared to most places that are closer to downtown or the main plazas.

Still, it’s definitely worth checking out. They’ve got a nice variety of milk teas, flavored teas, and other drinks. The prices are pretty fair, and I like that they offer different sizes…12oz, 24oz, and even 32oz, which is great if you’re really thirsty.

I got the matcha milk tea, and it was actually really good. The matcha wasn’t too strong, so you could still taste the milk tea, and it wasn’t overly sweet either. I don’t usually get boba, but since it was my first time here, I decided to try it. I was pleasantly surprised. The boba was chewy but not rubbery, had a nice texture, and it actually had some flavor to it.

The shop was clean, and the staff were super friendly. They answered all my questions and helped me decide what to get. I came by not long after they opened, so it wasn’t too busy, which made for a chill experience.

Overall, it’s a solid spot. If you’re in the area, definitely...

I walked in and saw Asian employees, I knew it was gonna be good. A nice surprise in a far off place where I least expected a quality boba shop. I drink boba everyday (unfortunately for my inevitable encounter with the Diabetes), but for now, I feel like I'm a boba expert. I travel to every spot imaginable for boba even though I live within walking distance to 10 boba shops without even having to cross a street, and about 20+ within 2 miles of my house. To say I'm surrounded by boba is an understatement. So when I found Chaca on the way home from playing golf in Beaumont, I decided to try it. Literally been back there 3x in 10 days. The slushies are good, the boba is warm and soft without being too soft. Good texture. Drinks are what I'd expect. No foods though. I don't think they have a kitchen, but if they sold popcorn chicken, I'm sure it'd be good too. Definitely recommend this spot over some others in the IE that I...
