Pros: Good portions for the price on entrees (not on desserts). Fast service (since most food is pre-prepared). Most food is reasonably good quality and not spicy.
Cons: They needed 4 interventions to get our order right. I ordered a 2-item combo, I got one item. Wife ordered a 3-item combo, got two items. Ordered a desert - didn't receive it. We had to get up and remind them FOUR times over the course of 30 minutes before we finally got everything we ordered. And this was with us being the only customers in the place for the first 10 minutes or so. There were two guys behind the counter and we reminded each of them about our missing items, and neither could get it right, so it wasn't even just one guy being a ditz, it was both of them. It was so bad my wife thought they might have been trying to cheat us out of things that we paid for, which is possible, but they also forgot the plasticware for a guy who later sat near us which is obviously not something he can forget that he paid for.
They use styrofoam for everything and provide only plastic utensils with no recycling symbols on them. Unless they're using newer corn-based styrofoam (unlikely if they won't pay a few cents more for recycle-marked plastic), styrofoam usually costs more to recycle than making new styrofoam. So basically every customer creates a ton of non-recyclable trash (4 large plates, 3 cups, 2 bowls, and I think 8 plastic utensils for our meal), even more than at traditional fast-food joints.
$4 for their Ras Malai dessert is ridiculous when you only get some cream and two tiny balls of cheese, each smaller than a piece of sushi. We ate Ras Malai as part of an all-you-can-eat Indian buffet at a much nicer establishment and besides being included in the buffet price, it also tasted much better. In fact, we paid less for that buffet than we paid at Naan Cafe for our endlessly messed up orders, plus we got actual plates and silverware and even...
Read moreI recently visited this fantastic Nepali-Indian restaurant, and I was blown away by the entire experience. From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere stood out. The staff, both Nepali and Indian, made us feel like family with their incredible hospitality. It was clear that everyone here genuinely cared about providing a great experience, which made the food even more enjoyable.
We ordered a variety of dishes, including Chicken Tikka Masala, Goat Curry, Paneer Tikka, Samosas, Naan, and Rice. Every bite was bursting with authentic flavors! The food was freshly made, and the standout for us was the goat curry—perfectly cooked with that unique, rich Nepali flavor. We were even treated to freshly prepared goat meat, which tasted just like traditional Nepali meat and was simply amazing. Don’t miss out on their Mango Lassi either—it’s refreshing and delicious.
In addition to the amazing food and friendly service, the restaurant itself is incredibly clean and well-maintained. There’s plenty of parking available, which makes visiting super convenient, and the restroom was spotless. It’s clear they pay attention to every detail, from the cleanliness of the space to the quality of the food.
We’ll definitely be returning for their Nepali festivals, and when we need large quantities of goat meat, this will be our go-to spot. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic, freshly made Nepali and Indian cuisine. Whether you're a local or a tourist, this place is...
Read moreNasty. Whatever this place is selling I made a mistake of buying and what I got tasted stale processed vegetables dipped in something like liquid warm ice cream how can Indian curry be creamy fatty and sugary. This is no way of cooking Indian cuisine, raw naan could be hazardous I was unable to taste any spices, herbs, nothing fresh and no ethnic flavor just fattening cream and sugar like a thick milk shake curry they might as well pour it in a cup with boba and provide straws. Pre packed dinners sold at international markets taste much better as we know the calorie count and ingredients at least there is accountability, I have had food around the world and also in several hundred South Asian places in California and what was sold to me at this joint was NOT healthy vegetarian food absolutely awful and not edible. I believe the three main ingredients were cooking heavy cream most likely dairy, real sugar and fattening butter the curry had no aroma, gross taste no texture horrible. The glass display was filthy the area behind messy dirty no wonder the kitchen is kept hidden from the customers, and they have the audacity to offer catering I do not like to see my loved ones getting sick. Horrendous...
