It seems like their restroom is always out-of-service, yet one time I saw an employee's friend go in. Afterwards I asked an employee if I could use it, they said no, then I said I saw someone use it 10 mins ago, they told me to speak to their manager and walked away (there was only 2 people working and neither were the manager lol). Perhaps they don't want strangers coming in and using their restroom, or some of the homeless people or tweakers that walk by. But not having a working restroom for a long period of time is bad service and disrespectful towards their customers.

Also, they always have 1-2 people working, and you can tell the employees have a lot on their plate and are slow with orders. This is not the employees' faults, the "manager" or owners could take a look at this and help out. Also they're a bit expensive and could extend their hours (if they hired more people).

Open for takeout right now, friend and I tried the hazelnut latte and the coconut latte. Flavor itself was weak on both drinks, would have asked for another pump of syrup if we hadn’t already left and if it wasn’t during covid times. Be sure to ask for an extra pump on your drinks otherwise it doesn’t matter what flavor you choose, it’s all going to taste the same. Miss the interior and drinks this coffee shop replaced. I can’t help but compare this cafe to back alley coffee shop that was here before. The interior is completely changed to a more modern and LA feel. The back room that is normally filled with students has been completely changed as well. Looks like the couches and second level seats have been removed and will probably just be replaced with a few tables once dine...

I had a fantastic experience during the two different times when I visited Molinos coffee shop. What made my visit especially delightful was the warm, friendly, and professional customer service that I experienced from Layla who introduced me to the amazing Cortadito, Cubano shot, and cafe con leche. These were all drinks that I had never had at any other coffee shop. Her kind service and attention made my visit memorable and ensured that I will be coming back every time I’m in downtown Redlands. Give her a raise!!
