We were in the area and trying to curb a pizza craving. The shop is cute. Outdoor dining and to go orders were available. We ordered to go , placed our order, paid and waited outside. Upon ordering we did ask about the garlic cheese loaf and the garlic cheese flat bread. We were told many people love the loaf. We got a full order and a 14" Prospector specialty pizza. An employee later came outside holding our order calling our name. We picked it up and headed home to eat while it was still warm. The cheese loaf container was opened and immediately my first thought was, "what kind of garlic cheese bread is this?" But I gave it a shot. It had an unsavory aroma and was hard and very dry. Even dipped into the red sauce the texture was still too hard. No biggy, we still had the main dish full meat pizza to eat. Or so we thought since that is exactly what we had ordered. Unfortunately another disappointment. It was a cheese pizza. The taste wasn't bad, but nothing special. My husband was so disappointed since it was his craving. He looked up the menu and couldn't even find it on the menu. The cheese they did have said it had ricotta and this pizza definitely did not. Pretty much mozzarella, and possibly garlic butter. We gave Dino šŸ• our loaf and ate enough of the pizza to stop the hunger pains. Now my husband did call spoke with someone who in the end was unapologetic and not much help. Without a doubt will never return.

Upon visiting the downtown area me and my family chose pizza for lunch and it became a wise decision here at The Gourmet Pizza Shoppe. We each got our own personal 7" pizza, 1 lb. of their signature wings with ranch sauce, and some cold beverages from their big refrigerator selections. Their wings were extremely delicious as well as their pizza. I cannot put into words to describe my overwhelmed taste buds as they exploded with utter joy. From the marinara sauce to the savory pizza crust which I ate the entire pieces, to the tantalizing toppings, you just cannot stop eating everything. The restaurant was quite busy for a Sunday afternoon around 2:30 pm and got packed as we were finishing up our meals. I know why they were so busy during our stay. The restaurant is clean, organized, and has great accommodating service. They have a large menu with tons of deliciousness to choose from. Pizza, pasta, salads, submarine samiches, awesome drinks both refrigerated and fountain + much more. I want to come here again when in town to try some more of their awesome food. They get an all around, up & down 5 stars from me hands down šŸ• šŸ— šŸ™Œ

This is one of our favorite spots. The owners are here daily, there are ENDLESS options for pizzas, (if you are vegan, come here!!!!), and they play great tunes. The atmosphere is very nice here, with little lights strung up to make it feel like your outdoors. You order at the counter, then they bring you your food. There are daily lunch specials, pizzas of the month based on the season, and lots of beverage choices. The staff are very friendly and they have Groupons & a rewards program. When we don’t dine in, we get their Take & Bake pizza and bake it at home, (any of their pizzas can be made as a take & back I believe it’s 10ā€ or larger). They also have monthly coupons in the Redlands magazine, on the back of Albertson’s receipts, and coupons on their website. Go check them out for yourselves! Open at 11 am daily.

Me and a friend had pizza here one day following attending the Redlands Springfest which was a beer tasting event. We got the Gay 90s Special which is a Redlands staple in the pizza market around here. Pepperoni, cashews and onions. It was an excellent pizza. Still doesn't top Jersey's, but it was delicious. For our beer selection, I had a Betty IPA from Redlands own Hangar 24. My friend who I introduced to the wonders of the craft beer world has become a bit of a beer snob in a fun sense of the term. She knows good beers and she can sense the bad ones, she has excellent taste when it comes to this. She opted to try something that was new to her from mammoth brewing called Epic IPA. She did not enjoy it. Reason being, it smelled bad. But i have a feeling it was not the beer that smelled bad. To me, it smelled like a dirty dish rag which makes me think the glass was not clean. I noticed my glass had a tinge of that smell too. Its not appealing at all. Well my friend took her beer back and told them it smelled bad. The guy at the register gave her a hard time about it. He apparently got offended, told her it was his favorite beer and took the annoying beer snob attitude and told her, "well thats just how it smells, maybe you don't like the smell of beer." WRONG! Maybe someone didn't clean the glasses correctly. His attitude was unnecessary. He did replace her beer with Betty IPA. Funny how both beers were IPAs and he assumed she doesn't like the smell of beer, yet she got a beer with intense hoppy piney notes. I have no problems with the restaurant but that guy really made this...

I was kind of excited to try this place! I've heard the buzz for years and being a pizza connoisseur all my life I was excited to try. That being said....Meh is the word I would use to describe thos place....maybe not even meh....more like waste of money and time. I gave it 2 stars for the Ritual IPA on tap....that was delicious. If it were just the food I would give it a 1 star.

Redeeming quality: the crust. The crust was thick, not too thick, sturdy but not hard. It was able to support the toppings of the pizza... The toppings though were big chunky pieces with an over abundance of what tasted like cheaply made cheese. The spices were also SO bland šŸ¤• I got the Angel's special...which was anything but special. It was bland, chunky and needs sauce.....the ricotta as sauce just doesnt work.

My wife got the "all american burger pizza " . It was made with thousand island sauce, hamburger meat, cheese, pickles and lettuce. It sounded interesting but it is a MESS. DO NOT ORDER THIS PIZZA. IT'S A DISGUSTING CONCOCTION THAT DOES NOT TASTE GOOD. the lettuce is flaccid and doesnt work. The texture induced vomit....just DOES NOT WORK.

I think the worst part was the "garlic bread" that they claim to be fresh in yet if were thrown across a room could be dangerous ot was so hard. It had not butter or oil...just bland bland bland bread with no sponginess . Just dry dry bread.

My recommendation would be to go somewhere else for good pies. This place was subpar to the excitement I held to try it....I...

Good salad with a horrible pizza experience. I arrived at the Pizza Shoppe with my fiance and 4 other people. My fiancƩ and I ordered first and the four other members of our party ordered after us. The other members in our party received their salads first, and as they were finishing them, my fiancƩ and I finally received our salads. Our friends instantly recieved thier pizzas while my fiance and I waited. Twenty minutes and two pitchers of beer between the six of us later, me and my fiancee where still waiting for our pizzas. I got up to ask where our food was, one lady walked out from behind by the pizza oven. After I told her what was going on and what we where waiting on she stated "we are just now making your pizzas and they will be out soon". Fifteen more minutes later I walked up to the cashier counter and demanded my pizza in a box as I was infuriated that I did not receive my food in a timely manner (and at the same time as my party). I have never recieved worse service. They finally brought my pizza out in a box 5 min after I was at the counter and my whole party left. We received horrible customer service. The representative behind the counter insisted this was due to the high volume of phone orders, however, considering the fact that the people behind my party received and finished their pizza before I ever received mine leaves me to believe this was in fact a lame excuse for their inability to attend to my order. Needless to say, we will not...
