Similar umbrellas can be found worldwide in countries such as Portugal, Peru, Ireland, and Germany. Over 400 multicolored umbrellas first covered the Orange Street Alley in Redlands back in 2018. Read moreSuper cool. I grew up in Redlands and loved going to Market Night. Now there's this awesome alley right next to it with umbrellas suspended from the "sky". There are cute little cafe tables along the way, orange (Redlands is known for its orange groves) decor in all sorts of fun ways, murals painted on the walls, it's just a narrow alley that could have been a dangerous, dark area but they've turned it into a wonderful attraction!
