Orange Street Alley — Attraction in Redlands

Similar umbrellas can be found worldwide in countries such as Portugal, Peru, Ireland, and Germany. Over 400 multicolored umbrellas first covered the Orange Street Alley in Redlands back in 2018. My partner, family members and I came on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend for lunch nearby. The umbrellas are replaced annually at the beginning of summer to keep them looking fresh and bright. Super cool. I grew up in Redlands and loved going to Market Night. Now there's this awesome alley right next to it with umbrellas suspended from the "sky". There are cute little cafe tables along the way, orange (Redlands is known for its orange groves) decor in all sorts of fun ways, murals painted on the walls, it's just a narrow alley that could have been a dangerous, dark area but they've turned it into a wonderful attraction! Such a cool place to visit & pretend to be a "tourist! Got a lot of really cool photos of the umbrellas that are hanging in this alley! Lots of interesting things to see in this "alley" which also has some entrances to some food eatery places as well. Haven't tried any of the food places yet.
