My family and 5 of my work colleagues went to Applebee's last night for a business dinner. When we arrived we were greated by a young kid and he told us they would get a table for all of us and that it would be about a 15-20 min. wait. After waiting, we were seated by the young man he was very polite and friendly then the waitress "Jasmine" came by and asked if we wanted some drinks. My wife asked Jasmine what they had on tap and she said "the tap is over there" and she pointed! We asked her again what drinks they had on tap because we couldn't see all the way over there to where she was pointing at. After a lil while she then started to mention the different kind of drinks that were on tap, acting very rudely like it was an inconvenience for her even though that is her job! After we ordered she asked if we knew what we wanted to order to eat, we informed her that we just got seated and we didn't get a chance to look at the menu, she didn't say aything she just turned around and left. After about 15 minutes she came back and asked if we were ready to order, my work colleagues and I were discussing business topics and we didn't quite hear her because the place was a bit loud and we were having a business discussion. Jasmine then snapped her fingers at us and said "umm excuse me! Are you ready to order or not!?" We felt very disrespected by the way she was talking to us and how we were treated! After placing our orders the appetizers came out and we had to eat them with our hands because she didn't bring any silverware out to the table and she hadn't passed by so we couldn't ask for some. After finishing our appetizers, my work colleagues and I went to the bar to have a couple drinks before our food arrived, when we got back to our table I noticed my wife and my colleague's wife were very upset. I asked what had happened and they said that the waitress Jasmine had passed by and made some rude comments about my daughter's that were sitting at the table! At this point I asked the young kid that seated us if the manager was available. When the manager "Ryan" arrived at our table I introduced myself and so did he, I then began to explain to Ryan of how poorly we were being treated and the rude comments made by Jasmine. Ryan said that he was going to take care of it and he was going to comp our meals for the inconvenience. I thanked him and waited for our food. After we had finished our food Jasmine came by and gave us our check, I was very confused because Ryan had said that he was going to take care of it. Ryan came by moment's later and asked if everything was ok, I informed Ryan that there must of been a mistake and he took the bills and our groupons we had and he said he was going to be right back. When he came back he said don't worry I took care of it, I asked him what does that mean? He said we didn't have to pay that he took care of the bill. Well when we got home we noticed that Ryan had put our groupon codes and used $30 dollars of our groupons that we had paid for. There for he lied to us about not having to pay and still charged us and used our groupons we had saved. We felt very discriminated and harassed and lied to, if the manager says you don't have to pay for your meals then goes and charges and uses our groupons $30 dollars worth we had paid for already I find that to be very dishonest! And I feel like I had been robbed of my money! This has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant, I will let people know of my experience and I will also write more reviews about this place in other platforms so they see what kind of service they have there. Read moreMy wife and i decided last night to go online to order a carside pickup order. I ordered two orders of the double crunch shrimp with fries, my wife ordered the broccoli cheddar mac & cheese and a side salad. First odd thing we noticed is when we called in it was a automated system taking our order.. which we thought was really strange. The order was placed just fine and we were advised the order would be ready at 7:58pm PST. So i left my home around 7:46pm last night to go pick up the food. When i had arrived at applebee's in redmond or, i got there around 7:52pm to pickup the order. I waited until 7:58pm to wait for someone to come out and greet me. One of the employee's came outside to greet me and she was kind, not mean or anything and advised me if i wanted something different to come with my shrimp since they did not receive their delivery of fries. I asked for onion rings and said that would be fine. She then asked for my card and advised me the amount due for the order. I handed her my debit card and she went back inside. I was under the impression this would only take about 5-7 min to finalize.. even with the issue with them being out of fries.. It was almost 8:12-8:13pm and i decided to go inside to see what the issue was.. since they were holding onto my debit card for a long period of time which seemed unusual to me. I walked into the side door and i was not greeted by someone who was working on the applebee's computer to my left and i noticed my food in a to go bag on a order table. I waited for about 2 min until the girl who spoke with me outside walked up and said "well, here is your card - sign here" so i did.. I also asked her if there was tartar sauce in the bag and she assured me it was and then i took the food home. I did not feel welcomed at all when i was there, my wife and i "were" regulars.. I'm sad to say after last night we won't be visiting again. when i got home i noticed - My sauce was not included in the bag and they gave my wife the incorrect item that she did not order. After my wife and i had eaten some of the food, we were both very displeased with the quality of the food. We both ended up getting sick from it and i threw all of it away. It was a complete waste of money and time. I'm really disappointed in the experience i had at the applebee's in redmond. We will not be visiting again. I would recommend to other people who live in the redmond area to avoid this location unless you want to get sick. Pretty sure the food was not cooked properly or just mishandled. I did contact the corporate applebees number to file a complaint since I had to leave work today due to how sick it made...
Read moreNOTE THIS IS NOT A BUSY RESTAURANT TIME - IT IS 4pm ON A MONDAY - THERE ARE MAYBE 6 TABLES IN THE RESTAURANT I am absolutely APPALLED on how BAD our service and food was. The management in this establishment is a young man who clearly is new and is lacking serious experience. Our waitress - if that's what you want to call her. Was terrible. We ordered our first round of drinks which took almost 20 minutes to get out for 7 people - 2 of which was water and 1 ginger ale. Then she finally decided it was time to take our food orders. 1 HOUR and 20 MINUTES later our food comes out - all of which are COLD. During which our drinks have already ran empty and we haven't even seen our server in almost 30 minutes. We asked for refilled before she vanished - she managed to ring them in, BUT NEVER BROUGHT THEM.(Our guess, she went on break and failed to mention it to anyone and thought it would be better to neglect us all together.) We stopped a hostess and asked for waters and silver ware for the food - the hostess was very nice, very respectful and tried everything she could to make the situation better *Serious Props to her, she deserves to serve, not the idiot who was.) The cheese had become hard in my chicken wrap, the steaks are cooked DRY, everything was cold. From the two bites I ate of my wrap before I sent it away I got sick. The bartender and hostess was polite in fixing and removing food from our bill but our "server" had vanished even more and even began to ignore and avoid us. We went back in to grab a phone we left and overheard our "server" talking about bad us. I will NEVER EVER EVER come to this establishment ever again. My advice - avoid...
