While we were on a beer-hopping adventure, we stumbled upon this gem of a spot, and it turned out to be a fantastic find! They had a decent selection of beers on tap, offering a good variety of styles to choose from. It wasn't the largest selection I've ever seen, but it was well-curated and offered enough options to satisfy different palates. We decided to try their winter ale, and it was absolutely amazing. It was the perfect beer for a cool evening – warm, flavorful, and with just the right blend of spices. You could tell it was brewed with care and attention to detail. It was so good, in fact, that it made me want to come back and explore the rest of their beer menu. The overall vibe of the place was also a plus. It had a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a few beers with friends. It felt like a comfortable and unpretentious spot, the kind of place you could easily spend a few hours. For anyone looking for a good spot to grab a beer, this place is definitely worth a try. While their selection might not be the biggest, the quality of the beer, especially the winter ale, was outstanding. I can definitely see myself coming back for more, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed and enjoyable...
Read moreAfter years of visiting every brewery in the area, we finally made it to Mac and Jack's. Some would consider this criminal, and I would agree. The gentleman behind the bar greeted us very warmly upon entry. He noticed our dog in the car and quickly encouraged us to bring him into their dog-friendly establishment. We grabbed a couple of pints and grabbed a seat on the patio. I didn't catch the man's name, but he came out to say hi to our dog and bring him a treat. He was so kind as to offer a water bowl for him (we had neglected to bring water for post-dog Park hydration). The Overhaul IPA was great, the vibe was great, the staff were exceptionally warm and friendly. Can't wait to go back,...
Read moreThis is one of, if not the best brewery to visit for many reasons. Its a very small operation that mysteriously produces large volumes of some of the best beer in the world. They are located off the beaten path in a small location inside an industrial complex near Marymoor park in Redmond, Washington. The inside of the brewery is run like a Swiss watch: very clean, organised, and not an ounce of space (or beer) wasted. If your a big fan of Mac and Jacks like I am, you will appreciate the variety of special brews you can try and/or purchase that are not available at pubs/bars/etc. Finish your tour of the brewery off by purchasing some gear, beer, and other goodies they sell at the...
