We really appreciated the help from both Kristiana and Allison at the Creekside Crossing Mattress Firm store in Redmond WA. We would give them both an A+! They were both really easy to talk to, gave helpful information and advice, and were sincere and friendly, without ever pushing us in any way. We were dreading the process of selecting a new mattress, as we have dealt with some pushy salespeople in the past. But we put great value in actually testing the options in store, so didn’t feel comfortable with just ordering online. I started my research by calling several stores in the Seattle area to understand what our current choices might be. I actually spoke with Allison by phone twice, as I narrowed my selections, and she was really helpful and patient with my many questions. She wasn’t trying to talk me into anything, but honestly giving me the information I needed. So after visiting several other mattress stores to try out some specific mattresses only carried in certain stores, we went to the Redmond Creekside Crossing Mattress Firm store. Allison was off that day, but Kristiana was equally easy to work with, and made us feel very comfortable. Once we explained our priorities, she showed us several options, and gave us plenty of time to try out each. Rather than hovering over us talking, she sat nearby and answered our questions as they came up. She explained the characteristics of each one in an easygoing manner, never pushing or trying to direct us to choices that didn’t fit our needs, or we couldn’t afford. Thanks to her guidance, we were able to find a style that we hope will be comfortable for many years. But we were also grateful to know we still can exchange for a different one with their 120 day return policy, if for some reason we find it isn’t as perfect at home. We would recommend the Creekside Crossing store, and are grateful that Allison and Kristiana made the...

So we ordered a $4500 mattress/box spring combo and scheduled it for delivery for December 15th, with a rudimentary bed frame since we were upgrading to a King bed. The 15th arrived, and our order was delivered but the frame was missing a part, so we were forced to put the bed on the floor.
We were told by mattress firm that they would call us back the next day (16th). We never received that call, so we followed up ourselves. The store manager was extremely condescending and told us we would already have our bed frame if we'd answered the phone. We had to show up to the store and show we had no missed calls to go "oh, yeah we must have called the wrong number," blame his employee (Diego) and have the whole thing swept under the rug. We agreed in store that we would receive a $50 credit for the inconvenience, which would apply within 10 business days. He said Diego would apply it the next day.
I set a calendar reminder to check that the refund went through (10 business days later), but didn't see anything. I gave it an extra week in case the holidays impacted it, still nothing.
I called back, got the manager, he told us he'd call back in 15 mins. An hour later, after no call back (surprise) I called the store and actually got Diego. Diego wasn't aware at all that we had an issue at all or were supposed to receive a credit, and processed it with an email confirmation.
Be prepared to deal with condescending and dismissive management, who blame their associates and do not follow up. We had to stay on top of it for them to do what they say...
Read moreI purchased a mattress from Redmond ,WA store. When purchased, I had specifically asked what is the return policy, and the sales person assured they have 45 days trial and return policy. So I should not be worried about returning. Unfortunately the mattress didn’t work for me and I started developing back pain. I went back to the store next week, explained the situation and wanted to return and refund. This time also I was speaking to the same salesperson. Now surprisingly he stared mentioning about 20% restocking and other fees involved with return and refund. I specifically asked why he misled me during initial purchase, and he said everything is written in the policy papers. Which I agree, all these might be mentioned in policy papers, but I didn’t read those multiple pages with smallest font size. Primarily the sales happened because I trusted all the verbal statement made by the sales person. But during the return process he was a different person. I was shocked with the treatment, and felt cheated but still went ahead with return. I paid almost $400 to return a $1299 mattress.
I was an existing customer of mattress firm I have other mattresses purchased from mattress firm Crossroads, Bellevue, WA. If anybody from mattress firm leadership reading this review, please fix this. For mattress firm future customers, please read policy papers carefully for hidden charges, or else you will be treated in the...
