Overall, regular Panda Express food. If you like it in one, you will probably like it in another. Except the teriyaki chicken, which all times we have ordered it has been way more fat than meat. We love Panda, but this particular location has an issue with online orders.
Last time we arrived, food was supposed to come out in twenty minutes. We shopped a bit and then went to pick it up. There were two people waiting. It looks like they were getting the first person's food ready. They gave to him and then finally acknowledged the second person who gave her name and they got her order ready. Finally me, same thing. So they weren't preparing the orders until you got there. What's the point of ordering online?? There were at least 7-10 people who went in the regular line and got their order before us as we waited. I finally left with my order 40 minutes after delivery. Twice as long as estimated, and only after informing them I was there.
What made me more upset was that when there was no one in the regular line, there were two employees standing there waiting for customers. Meanwhile the one 'online order' employee was rushing around trying to fulfill the orders. Why couldn't they help her meanwhile another customer arrived?
One star for okay food. One star for the employee trying to fulfill orders. Even then, she could definitely work on at least acknowledging the people in line. That's not just this occasion. Regularly you just stand around hoping someone makes eye contact to pick up your order. It's uncomfortable and feels like it's gotten worse every time we've visited. Two stars is all this place is worth to me and this will be the last...
Read moreStaff just always seem to be pretty rude here. Not one time have I came to this location and have a fair experience. Not even good. Just fair. They never acknowledge your presence, they expect you just stand there awkwardly until your spoken to. I find that very rude. It’s a common problem with most fast food chains. But these people signed up for the job, I didn’t sign up for a harsh interaction. A simple “I’ll be with you in just a moment, or I’ll be right there” or even “hi”. Somethings better than nothing. I don’t expect them to drop everything and jump to my attention. Not at all. But in the customer service industry, it doesn’t matter what field; fast food, fine dining, entertainment, shopping, anything really, you gotta greet your customers. It’s a simple sign of respect. Panda Express on 148th in Overlake do an amazing job at greeting their customers upon ENTERING. Regardless of the greet, I mean their attitude, and their tone in how they relay their responses are just… Not nice. I felt like I was getting talked to by my 7th grade teacher, being told one at a time. Different tone, and choice of words...
Read moreRating went down due to what seems to be a recent change where about 1.5 hour before close the grills are shut off and whatever on the line is all they have for the rest of the night. My fiancé works in health care and getting home "late" puts us coming in around 8:15-8:30 and some of the most popular items (Orange chicken for example) will be out without them planning to make more. I think this was rolled out recently as previously we didn't have this much trouble with this. This also is a problem at the Bellevue Panda too. Other review mention this as well but for the longest time we didn't experience this.
Earlier I the pandemic I would place online orders to try and limit how many people I came in contact with to show up at the store at the designated pickup time and have a line 5 people long with 3 more showing up served and still had to wait 7 more minutes to get my food after the line cleared.

Probably the best Panda Express I've been to that does not have it's own building. Orange chicken here is always on point. Just crispy and...
