ETA: since the owner has replied, I figured I would clarify that the guide specifically told my partner and I that the other room available for 2 people would be too easy for my partner and I and that we would easily get bored with it. The guide told us there were 3 rooms (ex-machine, Mona Lisa heist and the train) that were at our skill level and he believed that we would have no difficulty. I have completed almost 50 escape rooms and never been told I would be refused service because of a person team. Not to mention the fact that my repeated attempts to make contact and leave messages were outright ignored. Having one person handing calls is not an excuse not to have your hours listed or to not return messages if you have an answering service. Unacceptable. Definitely taking my business elsewhere.
I came in as a test run for the new Cursed room. That room was an absolute blast. We escaped within 5 minutes of the record time and enjoyed learning about developing the room and helping with a couple issues we had.
The only reason I give this place 3 stars is because you can't book these rooms for only 2 people without calling in. There are multiple phone numbers without any info on which ones are for what purpose. My partner and I spoke to the guide who helped us in Cursed and he made a recommendation, but the person I spoke to on the phone refused to book it for 2 people on the basis that it would be "boring"? If they listed their operating hours that would help because it of all the times I've tried to reach them I've only been able to speak to one representative. I'm very frustrated because I would like to try the other rooms but without being able to book I guess we might have to find other...
Read moreGreat experience. Especially if you are new to escape rooms they will support and help you have the best experience possible. We booked the school of magic wich is the only one with a space right next to it for a small gathering in case you want your group to do something after the game. There’s more rooms with different grade of difficulty and themes $41 per participant, depending of the room is the maximum of people you can bring but most of them is up to 8. The school of magic is Harry Potter based and we thought it was perfect for our son’s 13th birthday. Unlike other escape rooms companies I have researched they are pretty flexible in changes in the last minute like if you need to change the date and time even if you like to add participants they will make work for you. Plenty of parking right in front of the building though is a little tricky to find the building’s number due to the fact they share the campus with other businesses. The space we used after the experience is equipped with a kitchenette where you’ll have small fridge, a microwave and a sink. The room can accommodate about 15 to 20 people comfortably with a long table, a couch and chairs and even an arcade . $60 an hour and you have to clean before you leave. We brought pizza and cake and played some games. All in all the kids had a blast at the scape room and at the little gathering afterwards all in one place. Next time will try the ghost ship which is for beginners too. Their website is pretty easy to navigate and you’ll fine all the details before you decide to go. Definitely recommend to...
Read moreHi Alex, I wanted to share my recent experience at the Crafted escape room. My kids are big Minecraft fans and were visiting for spring break, so you can imagine their excitement when I told them I booked the event. Sadly the excitement ended there. Upon entering the first room, the crafting table did not work. We added the coal in the bottom and the brass on top and nothing happened. Thinking there was something else we missed we scoured the room for clues. Only after a few minutes did it "click" and the door opened. The rest of the rooms we progressed without issue unless we needed to use the crafting table. It never works so we moved on. The last task was to build the diamond sword. Using the coal, gold, silver, and diamond did not work! We did everything right and still would not work, so we think we are missing something. We had to call the girl and she tried to get the crafting table to work without success. She then had to open it manually so we could finish the last task. She apologized and gave a discount for our next visit.
I've taken my teams though several escape rooms and I'm sure you understand, when a task or problem to be solved does not work correctly then the participants think they are off track or doing it wrong and move on, resulting in wasted time and discouragement. Unfortunately this has lead to a bad experience. I've held off providing a review in hopes you will make this right. Happy to...
