Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Redmond

Not getting delivery from Papa John's anymore. Not an issue with this one store, but with the whole chain.

When you get a Papa Johns delivery now, they outsource your order to DoorDash. They purposefully obscure this from the website until after your order is placed. This is bad for 3 reasons

1- Higher delivery fees. $4 more than it's ever been from this building, far from rush hour.

2- You cannot tip at the door anymore. Again, just say this on your website. When the driver told me this, I called the restaurant, who pointed me to DoorDash customer service, who pointed me to Papa Johns customer service, who pointed back to the restaurant. Literally none of them could add a tip, minutes after it was delivered.

3- (this eases my guilt for #2) DoorDash is well-known for the unethical practice of using customer tip money to subsidize the payment they would have normally given the driver. So as long as you're not tipping something crazy like 40% of the order, your entire tip on the Papa Johns website is effectively going directly to DoorDash revenue and none of it to the...

I ordered using Uber Eats’ pre-order option, at 11:29 am for 1:30 pm delivery... giving MORE than enough time to prepare mine + my family’s food after a long day. We’ve never ordered through Papa John’s before; as I am gluten free. Our food came literally cold, and missing multiples of toppings. I called Papa John’s to ask them about a refund or re-fire as our experience isn’t what we paid for, we spoke for literally 5 minutes. The manager blamed the Uber driver, stating that they don’t remember if they put peppers on my pizza but it’s the drivers fault as he was so late— he delivered exactly when I pre-ordered for. He told me he knew my pizza was cold; but he didn’t forget ALL of the toppings.. The manager would not give me his name; then claimed he couldn’t understand me any longer— and hung up. WARNING — Rats at Papa John’s in Redmond!

I’m honestly shocked and disgusted. This Papa John’s location in Redmond has a serious rat problem. I personally saw multiple rats running and eating near their back door, right next to the area where food and supplies are handled.

And the worst part? They do absolutely nothing about it. This isn’t a one-time thing — it looks like a regular occurrence. It's not just unsanitary — it's dangerous. Rats carry diseases, and this kind of environment can seriously put people’s health at risk.

I’ve already sent two messages to Papa John’s customer support, and received zero response. No one reached out. No one took responsibility. This is unacceptable.

And for anyone who thinks I’m exaggerating — I have video proof. I’m sharing this because people deserve to know the truth before eating here.
