I've been going to PostDoc for the past 3 years and it was my favorite place to stop by and get a beer or two with friends. There's been ups and downs with staff attitude over years and I felt it was ok, we all go through rough times and come back. Today, unfortunately, it went over the top and I don't think I will return to PostDoc anytime soon. We ate some snacks late at night and were engaged in some exciting conversation when the staff indicated that our time was over and we needed to go. At that time there were a few other groups in the brewery. We kept talking and walked out of the door forgetting a food container on the table. Nick, who took our cards and who we tipped a good amount (even though it was all self-service including getting a beer refreshed) ran after us to a parking lot and yelled in front of a lot of people that we were disrespectful leaving food container on the table and that he was expected a table clean. He also yelled that he was tired of our attitude even though it's the first interaction outside of regular card swiping and taking our cash he had with us. There were many ways to address that problem and it was totally ok to tell us to come back and throw it out, but he decided to start with yelling "Yo, hey you, I'm tired of you" across the lot at 10:30PM. I understand it may be a bad day, but it was way too embarrassing for everybody. It was too late at night and I didn't want to engage in any heated conversation so we just left. Thanks PostDoc for your business over the years, but it's not time to switch to a more friendly environment where you feel welcomed and not being yelled at after you've spent money on...
Read moreI recently discovered a fantastic spot for beer lovers, and I can't wait to share my experience! This place boasts an absolutely amazing selection of beers. I was truly impressed by the sheer variety they offered, from local craft brews to international favorites. Whether you're a seasoned beer aficionado or just starting to explore the world of craft beer, you're sure to find something to pique your interest. What really stood out for me was their impressive collection of IPAs. As an IPA enthusiast, I was in heaven! They had a wide range of IPAs, from classic West Coast styles to hazy New England varieties, and everything in between. Each one was perfectly chilled and poured, showcasing the brewery's craftsmanship. It was clear that they take their beer seriously here, and it made for a truly enjoyable tasting experience. Beyond the incredible beer selection, the atmosphere was also a huge plus. The place had a wonderfully cozy and inviting vibe, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a few drinks with friends. It was comfortable and unpretentious, creating a welcoming environment for everyone. If you're a beer lover, especially if you appreciate a good IPA, this place is an absolute must-try. The combination of the amazing beer selection, the focus on IPAs, and the cozy atmosphere makes it a truly exceptional spot. I highly recommend checking it out – you won't be disappointed! I'll definitely be back soon to explore more of their...
Read moreHave been visiting Postdoc once or twice a week as a post dog training debrief and hang out location for something like 7 months. I have nothing but good things to say about it.
We are a pretty oddball group so it's great to have a place that accommodates our needs. There is a often rotated tap list for beer nerds like myself, but they still hang onto old favorites for those in our group who always order the same thing. They have cider if you need a gluten-free option, along with wine, mead, and craft soda if you want to try something different.
The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. They know exactly what we like to order and usually have it ready to go whenever we pull up. The service is absolutely excellent.
They have a lot of different outdoor seating options which is particularly good if you have dogs in the car or want to cycle them in for socialization. But as with any dog-friendly place make sure you're prepared for a lot of inexperienced handlers in proximity.
Most importantly their beer is very very good. And they usually have one or two sours on tap. Always a delight. It's definitely worth giving everything a try when they add something new. They're not oversaturated on IPAs which is something I appreciate.
Postdoc has been a fun and enjoyable place during a rough pandemic. It's well worth your...
