California Surf Club North Grill — Restaurant in Redondo Beach

This was a very difficult review. The atmosphere in the vibe of the restaurant is very good. The unfortunate thing is we arrived right at shift change so things were very, very confusing, the hostess was actually quite rude. And it took a while for us to get served. I’m sure if we had come a few minutes later or a few minutes earlier when the shift change was not in place then service would’ve been exceptional so I would advise not arriving at 5:30. Meanwhile, the food was pretty darn good the tallow fries exceptional. The bone marrow was out of this world. The tri-tip sandwich was marvelous. Our party of 8 was pleasantly surprised when we walked up and found friendly staff who worked on getting us a table fast, especially on a holiday. The host answered all of our questions and our server Kamau was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu from drinks to food. The staff from being to end were helpful and even allowed our group to walk on to the patio when the fireworks started. We also never went without drinks.
