Subway — Restaurant in Redondo Beach

This location has very bad customer service. I purchased a meal for my son, daughter, & myself. I purchased a milk for both kids & asked for tap water for myself. They do not allow you to get a cup for tap water. They are trying to force you to purchase a water bottle. Not great & bad service but I retrieved my Hydroflask from the car. Then my son dropped his steak sandwich after 4 bites. I asked the employees working if we could have the sandwich replaced. I was told I would have to purchase a brand new. one. This has happened to me from time to time. I have never encountered a restaurant NOT replacing a meal which fell on the ground. We eat out alot. I wouldn't have left a review, but I had to stare at my sandwich, for like ten minutes, in utter confusion, because I could not understand why I was having trouble eating the meat and cheese. You can check the camera. I look nuts. I feel nuts, as it's happening.

I finally realised my sandwich was literally cooked to the exact temperature we are expressly told is bad. "The danger zone" in many trainings.

It wasn't toasted. It was in the oven long enough to make it a humid, limp pile of meat. You served me a clammy handshake sandwich, and while I don't think the 30 seconds it took to cool to room temperature is long enough to gather bacteria, I simply don't want to eat sweaty cheese, and cold, wet skin on a foot...

So my bf and I get all the way to the register and the girl working there tells us it's cash only. Because the system had been down SINCE THIS MORNING. So WHY did you wait until we had already had our food made before telling us that?! I was expecting to get them for free since it was on them for not letting us know, but no. She just stood there staring at us. We had to go all the way to the Rite Aid across the Plaza to get cash back to get our food. We wouldn't have even gone back for it if we weren't in a hurry.
