We cannot recommend Delicious Designs enough. Leigh Anne was an absolute joy to work with! It's SO hard to find someone who can make the cake look gorgeous, taste great, and be affordable, but that's what Delicious Designs does! We got married in South Lake Tahoe and were originally looking for bakers in that area so that we wouldn't have to pay a delivery fee. However, everywhere we looked was SO expensive. Then we stumbled upon Delicious Designs and are SO happy we chose to order not only our cake but other desserts through Leigh Anne. We went to the shop in Reno to do a tasting and got to choose 8 different flavors to taste. They were all so delicious that deciding was pretty hard. We ended up choosing to do two flavors for our two-tier cake (there was no price difference), one being my husband's favorite and the other being my favorite. For my design vision, I wanted to have an ombre effect and had been told by other bakers that this would mean I would have to have a fondant cake, which is more expensive. Leigh Anne was able to make the ombre work with buttercream so that we didn't need to do fondant, and it was absolutely beautiful AND tasted delicious. We also ended up ordering cookies, mini cupcakes, and brownies as well. These were so great and our guests raved about the cookies. Leigh Anne was so flexible because while our venue wasn't able to provide dessert platters for these items, she gave me a fixed price to pay (it was very reasonable) and ended up ordering platters for me that went with our design and decor and were enough to fit all the dessert items. We also got a figurine of our dog made that we wanted included on the cake. We mailed this to Leigh Anne and then she set this up on the cake before delivery. It was SO cute!! She had a delivery fee from Reno to South Shore that was very affordable, and delivery and setup went so smoothly. I feel like it's rare to have cake that looks beautiful AND is delicious, but Delicious Designs has figured it out (affordably too!). For my wedding, we ordered a 2 tier cake (top tier was funfetti and bottom was lemon), cookies and churro cake pops (the owner created those especially for me because churros are my favorite!). The cookies were gone before dinner was even served. The cake pops were phenomenal. And the cake tasted great that night and for breakfast the next day ha.

I also super appreciate how flexible, creative and kind the team was during the decision making, ordering and delivery process. With two postponements and a change of venue due to COVID, the journey to our wedding day had not been easy but Leigh Anne and the ladies at Delicious Designs were angels. Their kindness and flexibility in the last 2 years has meant everything. They always went above and beyond to make each interaction from the cake tasting to a simple phone call, a positive experience. They took the time to discover our personal style and tastes to create a dessert plan that is unique to us. It's been two months and I'm still getting comments...

I absolutely loved working with Leigh Anne! My husband and I scheduled a tasting with her where we were able to pick quite a few different flavors to try out…and it was free! So many places may charge you for the tasting/consultation meeting and it can be upwards of $60 and I think that’s crazy. We chose her as our cake supplier and it was the best decision. I showed her some inspiration picutes and she gave me a few different options on how to make it possible on a smaller round cake. She then told me the price and it was a little out of budget so she suggested ways we can change the design slightly, stay in budget, and still love it. Leigh Anne did three cakes for our wedding; a six inch round and two sheet cakes. The price was very reasonable for the order. As long as you communicate with her and give her as much warning as possible, she will work with and accommodate your needs.
