Frequently out of stock for items that my DoorDash customers order, and this morning (5/24/2025) was out of stock of a particular item, and the customer service representative was unprofessional. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience from August 3rd 2025 with Stacie at Dunkin Donuts. It’s clear that the situation was frustrating and well below what should be expected—not only from a brand built around serving donuts, but also in how you, as a Dasher, were treated while doing your job.
Arriving at a donut shop only to be told there are no donuts ready for your customer—especially well past opening hours—is a breakdown in basic operations. The fact that you were already over 30 minutes behind on the pickup time due to lack of preparation, shows poor planning and disregard for both delivery drivers and customers. Adding to that, dealing with a staff member who brings a negative attitude into interactions just compounds the problem.
Offering ice water in lieu of a proper apology or meaningful compensation feels dismissive. Your suggestion—offering a coffee and donut, along with a sincere, humble apology—is not only reasonable, it’s the bare minimum a store should consider to show they value the time and effort Dashers like you put in. That would go a long way in building respect and accountability.
If you haven’t already, I’d recommend reporting this through both the DoorDash app (under the “Report a problem” section for the order) and directly to Dunkin Donuts corporate via their website or customer service. Clear, constructive feedback like yours has the potential to spark changes where they’re needed most.
You deserved better in that situation—your time and professionalism should...
Read moreWent in to grab a coffee and a bite to eat around 1pm today. When I walked in at the counter the employee rolled her eyes at me and completely ignored the fact I was there. The other employee had his headphones in and was making himself a drink while I was waiting around. I noticed the first employee was counting a drawer so I waited patiently. I was ignored for about 10-15 minutes before someone finally said something and the woman counting the drawer asked if I was paying cash or card which I told her I was paying cash. She then got an attitude with me and said it would be a longer wait, which I didn't mind. She finally had the other employee take my order. After I paid with cash he didn't even wash his hands before making my drink. Then proceeded to make me the wrong drink. My food wasn't heated all the way. I ended up just throwing away everything, which was disappointing considering how I was treated there. Waiting I don't mind...but the sanitary issue and attitudes when I was patient...
Read moreDisinterested staff. Poor selection of items. Barely open. Closes at 2 PM some days and 5 PM other days. Seems like it is about to go out of business. Every tenant who takes this space follows this path of trying to operate it then ends up like this- barely open any hours. This space is cursed- it initially had a Wal Mart operated Radio Grill, then a tenant Blimpie, then a tenant Burger King, and now this tenant Dunkin.
These Dunkin locations in Reno and Sparks (and the one that already went out of business in Carson City) are absolutely terrible representations of the Dunkin brand. Nothing like Dunkin back east in quality or...
