Note the COMP was because I had a coupon for a free medium pizza with the purchase of a large.
I called in and ordered a Hawaiian pizza (ham and pineapple) with stuffed crust (which is $2 extra which is fair). The issue was when I came in to pay he was telling me my pizza was $23 and charged as a specialty pizza instead of a large 2 topping for $18. It took me 10 minutes to argue with the guy up front that: A) the pizza I ordered is 2 toppings B) on your board a Hawaiian is not listed as a specialty C) on your website, a Hawaiian is not listed on as a specialty D) on your pamphlet, a Hawaiian is not listed as a specialty
The cashier tried to further argue that when I said Hawaiian it "automatically comes up as $22 in our system instead of a two topping for $18". So I then ask why he didn't tell me that the word Hawaiian costs an extra $3 and advise me to just ask for a pineapple and ham pizza, that's a dick move to just arbitrarily charge a customer more for the same 2 topping pizza just because I called it a Hawaiian.
After proving all of these points he was still adamant that my large pizza was worth $23 ($21 for two toppings+$2 for stuffed crust). I told him it is ILLEGAL to charge me $21 for a two topping pizza that you list as $18. Nowhere is it listed that a Hawaiian is $21, I was not informed that a Hawaiian was $21 when I placed my order, and further if the only place that lists a Hawaiian 2 topping pizza is in your proprietary cash register software that I cannot access when placing my order, then what you have done is illegal. You cannot charge someone more than what is listed without informing them. I was at this point, the guy gave me back $2. Unfortunately, I didn't quite catch that he should have given me back $3+change.
The guy was completely unsorry for his error and never once apologized. When he was handing me my "refunded" $2 I said I would take that or you can give me breadsticks to try and show some customer service. Told me nope breadsticks are $4. These guys didn't know customer service if it hit...
Read moreAfter reading several reviews, I deeply regret choosing the timing of my visit to this establishment. The pizza was disappointingly basic, and despite requesting a fresh pizza with ham and pineapple, I received another pepperoni one. While the ranch dressing was commendable, the salad lacked creativity, though it retained crispness. The choice of bowl for the salad was perplexing—an outdated 80s-style wood-look bowl, which, though nostalgic, was marred by chewed-up edges that surprised me. As someone with experience in the food industry, including owning a successful pizza spot in Vegas, I couldn't help but notice several basic errors that would have warranted shutdown by the health department. Despite typically refraining from negative ratings, I feel compelled to share my experience in hopes that it prompts improvements. At $32 for a meal comprising six slices, one dessert slice, and two salads—our designated cheat meal for the week—I can't help but feel shortchanged. It's evident that the focus should be on crafting meals with care and passion, rather than merely filling a void on a steam table to appease guests. I urge the establishment to prioritize customer satisfaction by treating each guest with the attention and respect...
Read moreI've always loved Godfathers pizza and was excited when we saw there was a buffet lunch. This location, I believe it is the only one left in town, is disgusting! The booths were not clean and had dried food on them, the dining area smelled like vomit. Since we had already paid for the buffet lunch we found the best place to sit possible. The pizza was good, the salad bar mediocre. The buffet runs until 2. There were three other parties also eating the buffet lunch. At 1:35, I asked the man behind the counter if they were putting out more pizza as I don't like jalapenos. He said no, I can pick off the jalapenos on the one that was already out there. At about 1:45 I walked up to the man behind the counter and asked if they were going to make more dessert pizza. He said they had already made two and they won't be making any more. Definitely DO NOT recommend their buffet. If you do go, get there early since when they hit their limit they shut it down. We will still be back to pick up pizza because their Taco Pizza is seriously the best, but will not be returning for lunch!! Head over to Mountain Mikes for their pizza buffet, much better salad bar and they continue to make...
