Jelly Donut — Restaurant in Reno

I love Jelly donut! This little gem is here for you in the morning, afternoon, evening, literally 24 hours a day! They have donuts, of course, but so much more! I love their C-4 breakfast sandwich, and even more I love joking with the friendly cashier that wears the shirts like 'I am fluent in sarcasm' and 'I'm going to make some mad today and I love it'- he is so funny!! Everyone who works here is very kind and helpful and they always get you exactly what you need :) I enjoy their martinellis apple juice, hot cocoa, coffee, and Gatorade- they have so many cool smoothie flavors too, like melon! You do you- and you stop in at Jelly donut for a tasty treat! Brought my baby brother here and this is a photo of his frog drinking...

Though the customer service girl was very nice, the place was run down, dirty and dishevelled. They appeared to not care how they appeared to their customers, almost as if the owners and managers lacked pride in their work. They also charge a 50¢ fee for using my credit card. Who still does that these days!

The donuts (I bought close to two dozen) looked pretty but they did not have the consistency of fresh donuts, almost as if they were made the night before (which could be the case since they're open 24/7). They don't even have a website, which tells me they simply aren't concerned about public perception. With so many other locally owned donut shops to choose from, I'll definitely be visiting them for my crullers and maple...

Walked in to get my dad an evening snack. First site 2 druggy homeless people just half munching half sleeping. But I understand it's cold now and they need somewhere warm. No problem there. But I go look what is available and that takes a few minutes. No people behind the counter just a child and a man in the walk way. I get ready to order and get ignored for 3 more minutes. Not long but annoying n then I say Hello to the man in the threshold and he looks at me continues talking to someone in the back room area. So rude!!!!! I waited 3 more minutes and walked out. Unreal in this day and small businesses needing money. So sad. I would have spent at least 20 to 40$ there this eve. Now I will just go...
