Nevada Fine Arts — Attraction in Reno

Being in self-isolation, I found that my paitinging supplies were ill-suited for the volume of work I was doing. I placed an order for a paint brush kit through the everything store online. After waiting 5 days, my order was cancelled by the company.

That gave me a perfect opportunity to use local business! I sent a list of the brushes I had ordered to NFA, and where the specific brushes were not available, asked for a recommendation.

The brushes I got are far superior to what I ordered, and I was able to complete my collection, add in some spares, AND got stretched canvas for CHEAPER (like way cheaper) than the online place.

I should have called them first! They were so helpful and quick, they saved me money, and you can tell they LOVE the joy of creating! Highly recommended for professional and novice (like me)...

We just had a TERRIBLE experience at this store. We were selecting Ohuhu alcohol markers with our grand son.Your employee told us that the colors on the marker lid were not true, so we spent the better part of an hour testing and selecting colors. We were in PLAIN sight of her the entire time. When we went to check out the same employee informed us that the selection we made( about 40 markers) were testers only and the only thing for sale were a couple of sets. Where was the sign telling us this? She saw us doing what we did- why didn’t she come over and tell us? Sorry, we’re done with you. We will order them online both individually and as a set. I suggest that if you want to stay in business that you train your employees and that you place relevant information about products so your customers...

I went to NV Fine Art for a matte or 5 for some picture framing I was doing. I knew NV Fine Art was going to be expensive but worth it because they have a phenomenal selection. I was correct! They had a great matte selection and they were huge! The other place I went to only went up to 18x20, my largest was 32x24. So yay, they had what I needed but YAY again - they cut the matte down for me for only $1 per cut! I can't fathom the travesty that would haev resulted if I attempted to cut them down myself, yikes. The customer service was freaking above and beyond - there was a slight mix up with the cuts and I wound up having to choose a new color for one of them, oops, but the guy helping me made sure I was 100%...
