The Radical Cat is a small bookstore that is located in downtown Reno, what is super cool about this place is they have a cat room that you can relax in that has 2+ cats in at a time. The cats are up for adoption, so if you fall in love, you can go home with not only a ton of books but a kitty too! The employees are so kind and helpful. I once went in there asking for a very specific type of book, and the employees researched one for me for over 30 minutes, found one, ordered it for me, and I picked it up less than a week later. I also met someone who was hiking through Reno while completing the Pacific Crest Trail and stumbled upon this bookstore, so the people who come here are also really interesting and cool people. They have a bulletin board loaded with tons of local community events for the customers to be informed about ways they can be a part of the community. I personally love checking out the LGBTQIA+ section because it is not common for bookstores to have as big of a section as this particular bookstore. I absolutely love this place, so if you are ever in Reno, I suggest you check out The Radical Cat to really get a feel of the community...

You can tell the owners truly care about this place and the cats, and they definitely put a lot of...
