IT’S HIS 1ST TIME in Reno for a pet-friendly weekend getaway ā˜ŗļø. We brought him to the place we brought Barbie the week she passed away. So many memories here and making new ones. We miss her so much, and we’re glad we get to show Juice the good life as opposed to his sad homeless history. This is how you move forward when pet grief strikes, you pass that love on to another pet who previously felt none. I know Barbie led us to both Juice Box and The Little One, and we’re so grateful 🩷. Let’s make it a great day! ##juiceboxwilson##reno##barbiewilson##thelittleonewilson##dogsoftiktok##dogvacay##blessed##theelement##california##weekend##dog##dogs##dogmom##dogdad##petfriendly##pet##pets##weekendgetaway

šŸ“ RENO, NV - Overnight Stay Element Reno Experience (By Marriott) 2030 Element Ln Reno, NV 89502 [ āœ…ļø ] Recommend [ ] Don't Recommend [ ] 50/50 We travel the US often and stay in multiple hotels, and we will definitely stay here again! Here are some pros, cons, & what you can expect. ROOM TYPE: 1 Bedroom Executive Suite (very spacious, plus it had a couch with Hide-a-bed & desk) PROS: - New hotel, built in 2022 & opened doors in January 2023, very modern & clean/nature design - $10/day covered self parking in parking garage & car charging stations (it is separate from building, but only a 1 minute walk) - Retail spaces in the same building (nothing had been rented while we stayed, but this will change over time) - Excellent customer service šŸ‘ šŸ‘Œ - Roughly 2 miles from the Reno International Airport - Within walking distance to multiple restaurants, the Peppermill Casino, and convenient stores - Only a few miles from Downtown Reno & the Mall - Free bike rentals (I believe they only have 2 onsite) - Free continental breakfast - Lounge/bar area with a great happy hour (next to front desk) - Nice clean rooms - Microwave, dish washer, full-size fridge, & cook top (a few basic dishes are included) - Iron & iron board - In room safe - Nice spacious gym to get in a decent worlout with a direct view of pool (2nd floor) - Have outdoor pool & hot tub on the rooftop (2nd floor), with cabanas (free/first come first serve) & outdoor showers - Comfy & clean beds - Handicap accessible - Has a little snack/convenience area in lobby with small snack items & beverages (some beers as well) - Has an outdoor fire pit seating area with a large bbq (located nearest the parking garage) - Supplies blowdryer & shampoo/ conditioners - In room coffee maker, plus coffee & hot water 24/7 in lobby - Water bottle refill station in gym - Washer & dryer available (coin operated, and yes they have rolled quarters for sale (complimentary laundry supplies) - Pet friendly ($20/night max weight 60lbs) - Free Wifi - Smoke Free hotel CONS: - There is a daily charge for parking of $10 - The front half of the hotel sits on a busy street, so depending upon what room you have, you could hear the street noise. I suggest asking for a room on the first floor (typically a bit more sound proof from the outside), or facing the parking garage if you are a light sleeper. Cheers friend! -Ashley from The Adventure Encounters

Let’s start with the lack of transparency for the parking!!! You do not have to pay for parking if you park in the public parking area which is past the hotel parking but apart of the same parking garage. The website makes it seem as if this is your only option. You pay an enter this half bottom floor of a garage that’s full almost every night. We ended up going inside an asking where do we then park as the parking space is full. We assumed the black gates that cut the garage in half was for the apartment homes. Turns out it’s free public parking. The front desk person says well your paying for the cameras an being closer. An that’s the hotel is looking at removing that public parking sign so guest don’t know. We looked at him kinda baffled. It’s not about the $ to park it was the lack of transparency about the parking that comes of really scam like. We parked uptop an could see are car all night. The area is lit. Breakfast is great! French toast for the winnnnnnnnn. Overall staff is friendly! Great pool an hot tub minus parents inability to watch an keep their kids from splashing inside the hot tub while adults are inside (I have a kid too). Pool faces east so there’s like no sun past 3/4 pm. Pools open late! You can people watch the apartments lol. Rooms an areas were clean. Some of the modern elements lol an lamps were odd. We walked into the wall lamp 3/4 times cause it protrudes from the wall a good 5 inches right into your face in the way to the bathroom. The bathrooms need more places to hang things. The decor is a modern dust catcher lol. Thankful for black out blinded. The direction of the hotel makes a echo effect. You can hear people down stairs outside. The hotel walls an floors are on the thinner side. You can hear but it wasn’t bad. Overall a good stay. Would stay here again.

I am a Platinum member, this only means I stay several weeks out of the year. I am suppose to be a valued guest. I like the Element in Salt Lake City. The breakfast is thoughtfully prepared, the food is good tasting, and someone will gladly make you a tasty omelette if you ask. Room service is responsive and will keep a normal schedule cleaning your room appropriately. Contrast! the Element in Reno, Nevada well to be nice, is grossly disappointing! I am in my 3rd week here of a six week stay. The breakfast is lazily prepared. I was able to get a cooked egg on the first 2 or 3 days I was here. The rest of the time, it hasn’t been an option. Last Sunday, my wife asked for some bacon and the attendant said they were out, smh. French toast is tasteless, often cold and the toppings are not fresh. The bacon, (when they have it) is cold. The egg balls are nasty and to say it plainly, cannot replace a traditionally cooked egg. The coffee is way too strong! How is it that one Element breakfast crew can give you a wonderful breakfast experience and another does not in the same hotel chain? The room service is not consistent and the cleaning quality is not good. You might get room service once a week unless you complain. Forget getting your bed sheets changed without pulling the sheets off the bed yourself and throwing them on the floor. None of what I’m saying may be noticeable if you’re only in your room for one or two days. However, if you’re one who spends weeks living in a hotel room you notice what is being done correctly and what you’re getting or not getting for your money. I struggle annually to find a hotel with people who proudly work there and are professional about caring for guest. It cost a lot of money to sleep in a 3 or 4 star hotel. It’s disappointing when you find out that whoever gave them the star rating really should have only given them 3 or 4 clouds! My review is nothing personal toward any one individual who work in a hotel setting. I understand how difficult it can be. If you’re in the business of providing this service, getting a constructive review may not be pleasant. However, taken with a positive attitude can help you retain your customers and grow your business. So please don’t...
