Reno Little Theater — Attraction in Reno

Got there as show was staring, due to parking issues. Should I say lack of parking spaces at theater. Anyway my daughter and followed another late person (Caucasian woman) into the theater. She was sold a ticket and escorted in to a seat after the show doors had already closed. As this took place I asked the second person in the ticket boot to sell us tickets too. She said"No the play doors have close so you can't go in" I asked why was the woman in front of us was allowed in. Her response was " she's the last one". The last one what? What the does that mean????? She got there late, she's a woman, she just bought her ticket, we are both well dressed, both over 40. What could possibly be the difference??? First let me say that all of the performers in the play this evening were entirely genuine and entertaining. The decision to wear sheets in representing the KKK was an unfortunate undertaking. There was a serious lack of sensitivity to those who have suffered grave indignities in the shadow cast by these images. I cant imagine that there was any input from someone of African decent that took part in the decision to; and hear me when I say this, cross a well defined line when you put on the sheets. There is no comedy once you put on the sheets. You are forgiven. You dont know or understand the visceral terror that was allowed to happen through the grimy holes in a damn bedsheets. Really nice community theater. Around 120 comfortable seats. Pretty raked so all the seats are close and unobstructed. They offer snacks and drinks including wine and a small selection of canned cocktails. The staff were friendly. It seems like a real community of patrons. I went on a name your price night so I was able to get a ticket suitable for my budget. Was back in town a year later and saw Dial M for Murder on opening night. It was incredibly well staged and the acting was top notch! I see shows across the country including 7 on Broadway in the past year. This performance was right up with the top shows I've seen. Will certainly be back the next time...
