I came through the drive thru today to order lunch. I ordered 2 original chickens with barbecue sauce and two small fries. The line was very long and took about 7 to 19 minutes to get threw it. Once I reached the window I was notified that if I had wanted to use the app I had to announce my code at the call box, and that they couldn't add the code now and that i had to go through the drive thru once agaiin to use my discount code. Having worked at burger king myself I'm very annoyed that they didn't just cancel my order and rung it up right there if that was the case. Secondly my original chicken had no barbecue sauce in the bag or on the sandwich. Though the guy at the window was apologetic I'm very displeased with the service. Not only that but Mt attempts to call the store were left unanswered 4 separate times. I love burger King over most fast food restaurants, and though this store is a convenience for me while I work in the area. I would not recommend this restaurant during the lunch period. Too bad as I've always found them hugely superior to their immediate competition , across my entire life actually and definitely from one end of the United States to the other . There have simply been more of the competition (franchises) so that's where Ive tended to go, hence the phrase fast food is in, "unplanned" . All that said this Burger King happens to be en route to the office so I'll be stopping in more often . The breakfast I had the other day was mediocre even by their modest standards , which is too bad . Tried to exchange at a different BK, and was told they don't honor other store issues. Then when contacted customer service department was told they would mail me a card for less than the value of what I paid for the sandwiches in the first place. I get that there are regulations in place for people's safety, and I understand that mistakes happen, but when a company doesn't stand behind their product and the customer service is lacking so badly that I have a trifecta of drama just to get a burger, is a complete marketing disaster.
