El Gallito Mexican Food Truck — Restaurant in Renton

Location: It is in the gas station parking lot next to the gas station store. Simple to find and they have a nice amount of space and easy parking.

Ambiance/View: It is either car dining or outside underneath the tent with a few benches. Obviously, being outside is cold so stay bundled up. but in the summer it's nice and relaxing for a food truck. No view, but it is a food truck.

Cleanliness: I always see the lady cleaning in the inside and when she is not inside she is always making sure the outside where the table are is clean and presentable. and swept as much as possible. Good job for a food truck!

Customer Service: When you arrive there she immediately ask what you would like with a smile. You can tell she is sincere and loving. she reminds me of my aunt with her kind smile and gentle voice. They are very quick to make the orders and IF they are running a little slow then she makes sure she notifies you immediately. Very attentive. Great Job.

Taste: Lengua Tacos were soo good and soft. the flavor was amazing by itself. the meat was like butter, just melted away. Then you add the lime and the hot sauce and it adds a whole new flavor that make it even more delicious!!

Shrimp Tacos: Is there actual shrimp? Are they super small? Is it worth it? OMG BEST SHRIMP TACOS I'VE EEEVER HAD!! And for only $2 a piece this is beyond worth the price. You almost feel as if you are robbing them with how inexpensive this is. lol :) If you are a shrimp lover and want a taco that is packed with flavor , this is the place to go!! IT has 3 -4 big sized shrimp! The cabbage and the sauce with the shrimp make this mouth watering, flavorful, colorful shrimp tacos a must! Squeeze the lime on it, add the green sauce and take a bite into an epic explosion of flavor that will make your taste buds beg for more no matter the distance! ( I travel 30 min to get there and have traveled an hour to eat the shrimp tacos!) This is the true definition of Umami!

Carne Asada Tacos: This was super packed with flavor and sooo good! Their sauces and the way it is marinated is just so good that you can't help but want to buy more than one. definitely recommend these if you are a carne asada fan!

Overall: I have yet to try their burritos and other items and even with not having tried everything; I can taste and smell that with how the meats and shrimp are cooked and marinated, I wont be dissapointed! The service, the food, the 'aunty' who takes your order makes you feel welcomed and excited to try this simple yet crazy delicious 'truck in the wall'. A must try if you are a foodie, love to try new foods, or want a taco truck that will serve you food that will make your taste buds explode and remind you of happiness in a world...

I found this place, went there for the first time, came back again the very next day. It’s absolutely delicious, fairly priced, great portions, and the service is so friendly and welcoming.

Absolutely the best Mexican food I’ve had in the area. I might say this is the best Mexican food in the greater Seattle area.

Since my first (solo) visit, I’ve brought many of my friends here, and now when I’m off work they are the ones texting ME asking me if I want to go here.

If you are on the fence, then get off of it and go here. You will probably love it. At the time of writing this they have 4.8 stars out of almost 500 reviews. That doesn’t happen by chance. They don’t offer discounts for reviews or free items for reviews… this is a fantastic spot to pick up food.

Just went here today and got a sampling of four tacos maybe the quality is different at different times of the day rather than just at opening but I felt it was just alright.

The service and atmosphere at a food truck is always going to be what it is. Paper plate of food handed to you through a tiny window that you are eating on the side of the road, needless to say the food’s gonna carry the show.

The food was fresh, flavors were decent nothing amazing or special. Things were just a little bit overcooked, went a little bit past kind of that soft and moist perfection level to a bit more chewy. I would get food here regularly. It’s reasonably priced, tacos are 2.50 each. Spent under 15 and got a drink and left...
