Refuel Cafe — Restaurant in Renton

A friend wanted to check out this place. And I convinced her to meet me there the other day. It was absolutely worth it. We were greeted as soon as we stepped in, by a very cheerful person behind the counter.

I had checked out the menu while I was waiting for her to show up. So I had an idea of what I wanted. While my friend was checking out, I asked if they only served breakfast at 8:30, or would it be possible to order a lunch item. To my excitement, they were ok with making a lunch item.

I ordered the Bacon, Avocado, Cheddar and Tomato Panini. And my friend got the Lavender Honey Latte and Crustless Quiche Lorraine Bite. To say they were tasty, is an understatement. When they brought us our order. They gal said "So we might have made your sandwich a little crisper that you like. Our panini grill was turned up a little hotter than it normally is. If it is to cripsy, we can remake it for you."

We both greatly enjoyed our order. My sandwich even being crisper than they normally make, it was yummy. The cheese had melted, and what had oozed out became crispy and just added to the flavor of the sandwich. My friend enjoy her Quiche so much, she said that she was going to order two of them to go. Because she wanted to enjoy it some more.

Although it cost a little more, than so many of the cheap places. The flavors of the food and atmosphere, definitely make it worth the visit. I will be stopping in from time to time, to enjoy...

Love the warm, inviting atomsphere of this place. I can totally see myself coming back because of how amazing and attentive the workers are!!

The burrito was fine but it was a bit dry, but pretty huge and was worth the $7.50 spent on it. I would personally recommend getting their other meals like the sandwiches. Be sure to get extra salsa or guac with this! I give it a 3.5/5!!

The coffee was really nice, one of the better coffee places in Renton for sure. The notes of lavendar and honey creating a melodic, harmonious blend was absolutely phenomenal. I give it a 4/5.

Their syrups and flavors tend to taste more flavorful and I both enjoy and recommed the house signature drinks. The house signature drinks really highlight this place and you 100% cannot go without trying them if you visit this place.

But ultimately, it’s the people, the smooth and chill vibe that makes this place as lovely as it. The warmth of the interior, the aromatic scent filling the air, it’s a atomsphere that Renton desperately needed and one I deeply enjoy. They also have a nice rewards program which honestly can be rare in Renton.

Edit: I ordered again, a 20oz hot chocolate and the breakfast sandwich again. I don't know if things were busy or if other people were working but the cocoa tasted mostly like milk and the sandwich was severely lacking. It was soggy with grease and the egg patty was much thinner than before. I couldn't even finish it. If this had been my first experience, I wouldn't order again. And I don't think I will now because I don't like rolling the dice on my meals. :(

Absolutely delicious! I ordered via door dash but that did not lessen the quality at all. I got an 8 oz hot cocoa as well as the Dilettante Breakfast Sandwich and both were FANTASTIC! The hot chocolate was still nice and warm and tasted high quality. As soon as I saw Macrina bakery in the menu, I knew the food would be good! First off, it's huge! The croissant is so crispy and flaky in the outside but tender inside, the eggs are fluffy, bacon is perfectly cooked and it's all well seasoned!
