The moment I stepped inside, I was immediately charmed by how vibrant and colorful the space was. The playful palette and cheerful decor instantly set a fun, upbeat tone. I visited on a busy Sunday morning. Every chair was taken! Thankfully, I lucked out and managed to snag a seat.
The staff were warm and welcoming, even with the rush. I ordered the Mountain View, which came stacked with latke, egg, mashed avocado, and melty cheeses on a plain bagel. It arrived piping hot. So much so that steam was coming up with every bite I took. The cheese was delightfully gooey, the egg was perfectly creamy, and the avocado added a lovely richness that was beautifully balanced with a touch of seasoning. I appreciated that it wasn’t just plain avocado! There was a nice zing to it that cut through the creaminess. The latke was crispy and crunchy witch gives it a nice mix of textures. Every bite was a satisfying blend of textures and flavors.
There was one small hiccup during my visit: when my order was called, another customer with the same first name accidentally picked it up and gave the bag a bit of an unfortunate squish before I let her know it was actually mine. It made for a slightly awkward moment, especially in such a busy setting. As friendly as the vibe is, I do wish they used a number system for orders. It might help avoid mix ups like that, especially on packed mornings when there are bound to be name overlaps.
All in all, it was a delicious and memorable visit. I’ll definitely be back. Hopefully with my bagel in hand and...
Read moreI heard so much about this place that I had to give it a try. Love the overall vibes of the store itself, very bright and modern.
As far as actual bagels, they are fine. Coming from the NY/NJ area I am very particular, and unfortunately I can't say these are anything special and rather make my own. They did have an ok chew, nice crumb, soft with no exterior crust, which disappointed me. Toppings were also disappointing. The Everything I found to be mainly sesame seeds and I think they could do better on coverage of both sides of the bagel. Maple Salt & Pepper really interested me but again, just ok.
I also really frown on places that mix their toppings into the cream cheese as a replacement for an actual topping, I think it's a poor excuse of avoiding a full topping. I got the Gleneagle and would have preferred the salmon separately from the cream cheese.
Again it's fine. I wouldn't go again given the price point and I can easily...
Read morePros: Good ordering experience, friendly people and overall customer service. The food we have been able to order has been tasty. Cons: the only con is the lack of vegan options. There's only one main menu item that is vegan without major modifications- the avocado and hummus sandwich. It's good, but there's only so many times you can eat it without getting tired of it. When they first opened, vegan cream cheese was listed on the menu but was never in stock. I asked about it a few months ago and was told they were working out an issue with their supplier. It's since been taken off the menu entirely. It can't be that difficult to get dairy free cheese or cream cheese. I know I can order a bagel with jam, avocado or peanut butter but that's not what I like on my bagels. We aren't the only people in the area that would order more often if more options were available. I'll add a 5th star if that...
